"Tails, what's going on? What do you mean Sonic is out of control?" Amy is the first one to arrive at Tails lab, her breath is running out from rushing all the way here. She's worried, panicked, mostly afraid of the unknown that happened to her most important individual.

Knuckles is the second. He came here unbelievably, he's here to know what is going on as well.

"I don't believe Sonic would do such thing," Knuckles said.

Silver replied immediately, "Yes he did, look at what happened to us, we're having bruises everywhere-"

"That did not explain Sonic is the one who did this," Amy stern voice cut him off, "Blaze, Silver, maybe there is some other explanation, a doppelganger just
Like metal Sonic, we wouldn't know what Egg Man's plan is..."

"This time involves Mephiles."

Just one statement from Blaze, the room went quiet.

"Isn't that thing was dead?" Knuckles asked.

"No, it's complicated," Tails finally spoke, "Sonic teamed up with him even, I have proof."

He turned to his computer, "there's surveillance camera everywhere in my lab, and on G.U.N.'s ground, Sonic and Mehlphiles destroy some of them, but, they seem like they could care less about the others."

A few pictures and video replays appeared on screen, Amy let out a soft denial, "no..."

Knuckles clenched his fist, resisting his anger, words came out from his gritting teeth, "betrayal, from the closest friend."

Tails had a deep breath, cleared his throat, he said, "There's no time to be whiny whiny, Sonic is now trying to eliminate our existence. Shadow is up there in space stopping him, hoping so he is alive based on his last signal."

"Shadow need our support, we all know, Sonic is powerful, especially when he had any of those chaos emeralds, needless to say, if he gotten all seven of them, we have no chance in winning."

"Are you saying," Amy voice was shaking, "you're asking us to fight our friend?"

The whole room went quite. No one answered her, no one dared to look her in the eyes as if this is able to avoid the question. After sometimes, Tails looked at her with a frowned look, almost whispering, "we had no choice."

Space.

Sonic took out the other six chaos emerald, merged them into a pure, material-based chaos spear, and hold it high above his head, about to stab on the unconscious body.

He did hesitate, he was shaking, he was breathing heavily, memories of different times starting to replay in his head, his tear starting to run down his cheeks. But he had to.

As the spear stabbed right through, there was no blood. Unlike any other injury, this one did not made Shadow bleed, but made him glitched like a digital object.

The spear later shattered into energy fragments, and disappear within thin air.

As the fragments disappear, he kneeled down, as something heavy is on his shoulder, weighing him down. He stared at the glitching body for a moment, then he reached his hand out to it.

But before his hand touched it, he heard something coming, his ears starting to twitch.

At the corner of his eye, he saw a familiar spacecraft, which made him chuckled, "oh my, looks like I've got company."

"I don't want to fight you Sonic, please, let's talk about this!" Amy yelled as she drew back from an attack.

Sonic flinged his wrist, looking at all his friends, he smirked, "There's nothing to talk about."

"You're damn right about that!" Knuckles threw another punch, but Sonic's speed isn't a joke, even Silver failed to hold him down with his psychokinesis when Sonic was in his attacking range.

Now it's like a pinball game where everyone couldn't even land a hit on Sonic. He easily beaten everyone He yawned and stretched like a cat, "boring, I don't even use any of my chaos emerald to fight you guys."

"I don't want to play nice. I've had enought of it, time to end this."

He walked towards the unconscious Shadow, but stopped half way, "oh, by the way, Shadow's gone."

He turned his head to see their expressions, bursted out a laugh, "lol, not like dead dead, just this clone is not functioning properly anymore."

He slowed down his laugh, continued, "And he wonders why the timehole had effect on him, because he's a fucking defect," he gritted his teeth, "that got lucky, and I had to use my backup plan."

Knuckles was so confused, "what do you mean he's a clone? Sonic, you know there is a thing called doctor. If you're goddamn out of your mind, you go see a goddamn doctor."

Sonic paused to take a look at Knuckles, then he giggled, "hehehe you're funny, but anyway," he stepped on the cold body, making the body glitched again, then he pulled Shadow's face right closed up to his, "send my message to G.U.N, that you had failed your mission, and let dear Shadow the Hedgehog know, I am coming for you," he held him close later, like he was hugging him tightly, and he read out what wasn't supposed to, "Mission title, Project Chaos and Order. Mission code GUN610483."

The clone glitched more and more, until it stopped with the white chaos emerald in his hand. He then spoke with distorted Shadow's voice, "Chaos control."

In just one second, a flash of light made them both disappeared.

They took away the colours as well, like the other gray timelines. Sonic succeeded, he stopped time.
