Fatigue [Sonadow]

Travelling (P9)

As fast as he could, Shadow ran towards the blaring siren.

Each alarm noise made his heart thump faster and faster. Like a sign, implying something bad will happen.

Distance is the only challenge to arrive by the time anyone gets hurt, however, a familiar laugh alerted Shadow, made him looked up and around as he ran.

"Mephiles!" He yelled at nothing in the air, but he did get a reply.

"Running will only further push you to the one inevitable, Shadow The Hedgehog."

Shadow grunt in annoyance, speeding up his pace.

"Here's a little gift."

Once Mephiles finished his sentence, a few daggers pierced through the air, aiming at Shadow's wound from last time they meet.

"Chaos control!" Shadow managed to doged them, but then again, a few more rains down from upwards of where he teleported to.

It was too quick to perform chaos control again, so Shadow performed a spindash as a shield, making the daggers flown another direction once they hit.

Mephiles did not give up, raining daggers did not stop.

"Enough!" Shadow had enough of the bother, he stood still, facing directly at those sharp weapon.

After a few clinking noises, he was holding those daggers. He caught them like playing catch.

"Chaos control!"

A teleportation was made again, this time directly into the HQ.

From where he disappeared, Mephiles eerily said, "You're welcome."

You all know what happened next. Shadow was tased by whom he protected. He's lying on the ground unconscious.

Sonic was holding the poor fox, telling him, "Shadow and Mephiles collaborated."

"I don't understand, Shadow-"

"No need to, the security's here, let's get him to some place where we can trapped him forever," Sonic stood up, looking at his fox friend with a smile.

Tails was uneasy at first, but then he walked towards the crowd that just arrived to deal with Shadow.

"Hey, before you go, can I have the emerald radar? Need to track them down, you know, Mephiles, middle-school-second-year-syndrome-enemy."

"Oh yeah sure," Tails passed him the device from his pocket.

"Thanks buddy, just curious, do you have any other emerald detector?"

Tails raised one of his ear, "No."

"Haha, you should make another one." Sonic grinned as he threw the device into the air and grabbed it, left the lab after, leaving Tails with a concern look.

The second Sonic arrived at somewhere who knows where, it was thrown to the ground with a following thrust of a purple energy spear.
