Prologue~
He watches as the Line Of Eternity continues to move forward in its slower-than-snails pace. The next soul enters the North Gate. A tired, but smiling soul enters from the South Gate. The cycle repeats on. He is about to turn and leave, when one soul catches his eye. His eyes widen, but you would’ve never known, because he is able to control his shocked expression within a split second. Outside, he is a calm Spirit, observing the Continuous Cycle. But in the inside, he is worried, wondering about how this is going to turn out.
Already? he thinks. He hadn’t expected this to happen so soon. Maybe ‘soon’ is an exaggeration. It has been more than a few centuries. But still.
He sighs and walks on. There is nothing he can do. He has to leave this in the hands of Fate.
