Story based on a request.

The studio lights were bright, the energy high, and James Corden's mischievous grin set the tone as the members of Why Don't We shuffled onto the stage of The Late Late Show. Corbyn, the band's charming and warm-hearted member, sat next to his bandmates ready for whatever game James had up his sleeve. The crowd roared as they took their seats, a palpable buzz of thrill in the air on set.

"Alright, gentlemen," James began, his eyes glinting with excitement. "It's time for Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts!"

The band chuckled nervously, knowing the rules all too well. They could either answer a personal, often awkward question, or eat something truly disgusting that would make anyone's stomach turn.

"Here we go," James said, picking up a card and grinning. "First question goes to Daniel."

"Uh-oh, what's coming?" Daniel's face started to turn into a nervous but excited smile.

James leaned in, eyes twinkling with mischief. "Daniel, you're the oldest member of the band. Who's the most annoying person in the band, and why?"

The room went silent for a second, all eyes on Daniel. He looked over at Zach, who was already grinning like a cat that ate the canary. "Oh, that's easy," Daniel said, pointing at Zach. "Zach. 100%. It's the way he steals my snacks, talks in the middle of my sleep, and acts like a toddler on a sugar rush when he gets excited."

The younger boy dramatically gasped, clutching his chest in mock betrayal. "Excuse me? That's a low blow, Dani. Like you've never done the same to me!"

Daniel chuckled. "I'm just saying, I could do without the random singing at 3 a.m. too. It's not the same as your 6 a.m. alarm, but it's close."

The crowd burst into laughter, and even James had to hold his stomach. "Okay, okay, we get it! Zach's the annoying one. I think you get to skip the disgusting food, Daniel." The boys shot each other a playful glare. "I will never forgive you for this."

"Next up, let's make this interesting," James continued, picking up another card. "Jonah, you're next."

Jonah grinned widely, ready to take on whatever challenge James had. "Hit me with your best shot, James."

"Alright, let's hear it—what's the most embarrassing thing your sister's done to you in front of your parents?" The audience squealed with excitement in anticipation and the rest of the boys were eager to hear the anecdote.

"Oh, I've got a good one. So, there was this time I was trying to sneak out of the house to meet up with a girl—super typical, right? I thought I had everything figured out. I was gonna quietly slip past my parents, go out the front door, and say I was just grabbing something from the car. You know, trying to be all secretive, like a secret agent or something." Jonah paused for a moment and leaned in with a grin, already laughing a little at the memory.

"But, of course, my sister—who always seems to know exactly what I'm up to—was hanging around the house. I didn't think she was paying any attention, but just as I was about to leave, she shouts across the living room, 'Mom, Dad, guess what Jonah's doing? He's sneaking out to see a girl!'" He mimicked his sister's over-the-top shout, and everyone laughed.

"I just froze. My heart dropped. My parents immediately look at me like I've done something really bad, and all I could think was, 'Well, there goes that plan.' My sister just had to spoil it. She couldn't let me have one secret." Jonah chuckles, clearly over it now, but still a little embarrassed. "My parents were laughing, like, 'Jonah, you're not 12 anymore, you don't have to sneak around.' And my sister's just standing there, loving every second of it. Looking back, it's pretty funny now, but in the moment? I swear I just wanted to disappear."

"I can imagine! You thought you were all set up like a pro and if it hadn't been for your sister, your plan was perfect! Alright, well, Jonah, I think you're in the clear. No gross food for you either," James said, smirking. "Next up is Corbyn," he said, and he grabbed another card to keep the game interesting.

Corbyn laughed, already bracing himself. "What's this gonna be?"

James gave him a knowing smile. "Alright, Corbyn, here's a tough one. Who's the most important person in your life right now, and why?"

The room fell silent for a moment, and Corbyn's smile softened as his thoughts immediately turned to Y/N, his girlfriend. The fans had known about their relationship for a while, but Corbyn rarely shared much of his personal life on such a public stage, but tonight was different.

"I don't need to eat anything gross for this one," he said, glancing at the camera. His voice became tender. "The most important person in my life is my girlfriend, Y/N. She's incredible. She's always been there for me, through thick and thin, supporting me in ways I can't even put into words." He paused, a soft, genuine smile playing on his lips. "Y/N, if you're watching this, I just want you to know how much I love you, how proud I am of you, and how lucky I am to have you by my side. You make everything better."

The band members exchanged playful looks, their teasing expressions fading into admiration. Jonah raised an eyebrow and grinned. "Corbyn's getting all mushy, man."

James leaned forward, feigning surprise. "Is this a proposal, Corbyn? Are you about to pop the question right here?"

Corbyn chuckled, shaking his head. "No, no, not yet. But I'm seriously the luckiest guy ever."

The crowd awed at his sincerity. The connection between him and Y/N was clear.

James gave a dramatic sigh. "That was so sweet, I might cry. Right, Corbyn, you're off the hook—no disgusting food for you. But that was an adorable answer."

The rest of the band clapped in support, and Corbyn leaned back in his seat, feeling the warmth of being able to share such a heartfelt message. It wasn't often he got to express how much Y/N meant to him on such a public platform, and he was grateful for the opportunity.

"Okay," James said with a mischievous smile. "Next question..."

But Corbyn's mind was still on the sweet, quiet moment he had just shared with Y/N—even if she wasn't physically there, he knew she'd feel the love. And that, for him, was the most important thing in the world.
