Life...(Drug Addict Levi X Reader)

Maybe I could swim into your thoughts like your drugs do
Paralyze your body
Sick and tired of waking up too
Burning eyes and cigarettes
I'm falling through the couch like a suicide mission tonight
My God, here comes the downside

You were tired, you were sick, nothing seems to be working and nothing seems to be going your way right now. He's hurting, no...he's dyin because of the drugs he was taking. You just wish that maybe you were enough to drag him out of his addiction and bring back the beautiful husband you once had, the shining raven locks, the shining steel grey eyes and his perfect carin personality. Now all of those things were replaced with dirtied black mop on his head and those once shining eyes are now dull and dead with andgry purple bags underneath them. Right now you just want your Levi back. You sat alone at the kitchen table staring into space and just thinking, no worry about your beloved partner who is out there doing...whatever he is doing that is puc0shing him closer and closer to his death. Every drug he takes he's closer to dying and every day you are falling apart. Soon a click in the door woke you up from your worrying thoughts. Levi stumbled in, drunk, high on heroin and most likely still tripping on acid. You stood up and walked over to him. He was a wreck, well...that's a complete undestatement. He was the walking dead. "Levi?..." you whispered tears started to fall as he stood there staring at you. "Levi, please...please stop this...you are killing yourself. No you're killing me Levi! Why are you doin this?!....Am i just not enough?...." you whispered the last sentence and tears continues to flow.

Wild eyes of terror pray for sex on the beach while
Oceans of kerosene will soak into me
I'm not meant for this world, I just don't see the point
Don't think about it, don't over think about it

And life is a joke
But everything's riding on me tonight
Been counting the stars and scars
How I'm becoming a work of art

Desperate times and desperate measures
I come so close, my hopes are severed by the downside
A million waves in the ocean crash at once to make you smile

Levi opened his mouth to speak but shut it not knowing what to say. "[F/N]...i am so sorry. I just-" you cut him off "Just what Levi?! What went wrong? Why are you-"
"BECAUSE I DON'T SEE THE POINT OF LIFE ANYMORE OKAY?! I DON'T WANT TO LIVE THIS JOKE OF A LIFE ANYMORE!? I HATE WHO I AM AND I HATE THE FACT THAT YOU ARE LOVING ME FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS...and...i just can't take it anymore" you stood there stunned as you watched the love of your life crumble to pieces right in front of you. You lookeddown at his arms and saw many many scars scattered over his wrist like branches on a tree against the winter sky. Your knees buckled under you as you fell and raised your shaking [s/c] hand and delicately lift Levi's hand way from his face "look at me.." you whispered in a soothing voice as he looked up into your shining [e/c] as tears fell. You gave him a small reasuring smile before you took him into your arms and hugged him as if you let him slip for a second he would disappear and never come back. "It's okay, you're okay" you whispered into his ears over and over again huggin him tighter as he hung onto you for dear life. "You are okay, i promise, please...Levi...hold on, just for me? I love you" you spoke into his ears just above a whisper he only nodded.

And life is a joke
But at least I can love you, naked and tattooed

You two eventually pulled away from each other, you looked deep into each other's eyes, Levi gave a small genuine smile as he realised the light to his dark cruel world was always there he was just too blind to see it. You two sat there for while until you brok the comfortable silence "tea?" You asked him Levi gave a throaty chuckle, the first chuckle in months. "Yeah" he replied. You both stood up and made your way to the kitchen to make some tea. Eventually you two grew tired from all the crying you decided to go to bed. You both sat in bed cuddling each other. "[F/N]?" Levi looked up at you, you looked back at him as you hummed in response "I Love You..." he said as he stared into your soul "you know my answer, and that will always be the answer to everything. The answer to what i do and why i do it. It's because i love you" he smiled and kissed your lips passionately. He then pulled away and you settled down and cuddled, before you both fell asleep you whispered "Levi?"
"Hmm?" He replied
"Life will never put you through more than you can handle... remeber that"
