CHARLOTTE POV
I hear a really scary growl, and I snuggle deeper into my covers. What was that? What happened? Who was she? All these questions circled my mind, and I have a feeling I'm not going to get the answers from Emmett anytime soon.
I hear loud footsteps enter my room and feel his hand on my arm.
"Charlotte are you okay?" He asks
"It honestly depends, I want you to tell me the truth. Who was she!"
"Oh..she is a vampire, and vampires and werewolves hate each other. And because you are my human mate, she wants to break us apart, everything she says is a lie, so to keep you safe I will have someone with you at all times." He explains
"Oh, but why would she hurt me if I'm human."
"Oh..um..because she wants to hurt me, if you feel pain, I feel pain." He says
"Ok."
I feel a movement in. My stomach,
"Woah." I say while sitting up.
"What's wrong! Do we need a doctor!" He freaks out
"No, the baby kicked." I say and put his hand over my now bigger stomach.
"Do you feel that?" I ask
"Yeah, I do" he smiles.
"So let's talk names." I say
"Okay, what do you like." He asks while laying in bed next to me, keeping his hand on my stomach.
"I don't know, I was thinking Millie or Payton." I say
"What about you?"
"Those names are both beautiful, I also like Taylor or Blaire." He says
"Hmmm, I guess we will have some time to think." I say
"Yeah, I can't wait." He smiles
"Me too"
Emma POV
So he convinced her I'm evil! I'm trying to protect her! She has another true mate! And he stole her from him!
"I can't believe he did that!" Austin, Charlottes true mate huffs. He is also my brother.
"Don't worry, things will work out, I'll try agin tomorrow." I say
"I should have told her back in Louisiana, I just wanted to give her space and that dog came and took her."
"Don't worry, he won't have her long." I smile
"And he got her pregnant! That thing inside her has to go! No way is she giving birth to a pup!" He says
"Don't worry, but we can't hurt her, she's my friend." I say
"I would NEVER hurt my mate, I can give her forever, but he can only give her a few decades." He says lunging at me.
"Austin calm down, we will figure out a way to get her tomorrow, once she remembers the past she will come with me, and definitely hate them." I explain.
"Yeah, true." He says
