"THAT a good ass plan." Elliot said while shutting his locker closed.
"Thank you. Fuckin' Fez or Sevyn didn't wanna hear it." Rue said while looking over at Sevyn who leaned on the locker next to her.
"Because it's a dumbass plan." Sevyn argued, walking away from the two teens and past Lexi.
"Why not?" Elliot asked.
"Ego shit man."
Rue furrowed her brows. "Yo Lex, what are you doing?"
Lexi looked at Rue with the stack of flyers in her hand. "Putting up flyers for this play i'm doing."
"What play?"
Lexi hadn't told anyone about the play.
Including Cassie.
"I'd actually love for you to read it." Lexi told Rue as they both washed their hands.
"Yeah, for sure, just uh, send it to me."
"Hey, Rue-Rue." Cassie greeted the curly haired girl as her heels clicked against the floor.
"Hi, Cass."
Rue stared at the blonde's outfit. "Are you in Lexi's play?"
"What play?" Cassie furrowed her brows.
"Lexi's play."
"What do you mean, Lexi's play?"
"Uhh...the play that Lexi wrote?"
Lexi's skin began to turn pale. "Oklahoma."
"What?" Cassie asked again.
"The play's called Oklahoma?" Rue furrowed her brows.
"No, the drama club's doing 'Oklahoma'." Lexi corrected Rue.
Cassie looked at herself in the mirror before realizing.
"Oh my god. Do I look like i'm in 'Oklahoma'?"
"Why would your play be set in Oklahoma?" Rue questioned.
"Nigga, Oklahoma aint even nowhere near here, why are we talking about it?" Sevyn's voice asked as she walked into the bathroom, looking down at her phone.
Rue and Sevyn quickly dapped each other up before Lexi gave a small "hello".
"You thought I was auditioning for Oklahoma?" Cassie asked.
Sevyn looked Cassie up and down. "I mean..." She mumbled.
"I haven't read it, so..." Rue trailed off.
"Are you making fun of me or did you actually think I was auditioning for Oklahoma?"
Lexi tried to wave her arms 'No' through the mirror for Rue and Sevyn to see.
