November 22, 2025. Innerworld. Village Aquila. Base Of The Mountain Housing Base Aquila.
An aerie noise echoes from the town's center. A mechanic beast of smog and treads, performs a presentation for the strange entourage sitting near the town hall. US soldiers from Aquila and the king of Yensom with his accompanying advisors, observe the up armored tractor with intrigue.
KING: This is the only working model of, what you Americans call, a tank from Hillion we recovered.
The tank suddenly spits black smoke and sputters before coming to a complete silent stop. The Yensom engineers start yelling at each other, while the king looks on in disappointment. The Americans on the other hand deem the demonstration as a success.
HITCH: An eye opening display into the advances made under our noses.
WYTE: We knew about Hillions tank development 2 months ago, we just didn't see it as important as other events during that time.
Hitch shoots the commander a glare.
HITCH: I thought I ordered you to stay back, commander Blechin?
WYTE: As per the new chain of command, Hells Bells are supposed to follow orders of the general in charge of the world they're in, unless stateside. However they can disobey these orders when Odin gives them permission, or in my case in equal standing. Since an SCU and a regular HB division is present in this dimension, my rank is put the same as a Major General so I can order other HB units when present. So your request for another Hells Bells division kinda got rid of your command over me.
Wyte ends his lesson with a smile, with Hitch unable to counteract his argument. He moves over to the king observing the tank with optimism.
WYTE: Can you repair the other tanks?
He is cut off by the commander of the 5th armored.
5TH: We already overlooked the knocked out vehicles and deduced, even with our technology, they would have to be scrapped and rebuilt.
HITCH: Their manufacture capacity is too limited for tank production. Even if they had the capacity they don't have the rail lines to ship them.
The Americans and the Yensoms debate over future plans when Wyte interjects with a proposal.
WYTE: The Arragonians have 50 Mark 5 tanks in need of scrapping, I can pull my contacts and have them shipped here if you want.
This proposal sends Hitch into a fit.
HITCH: That goes against the New Tech Act. We can't just give advanced technology to a nation that just fully embraced the 20th century.
Wyte looks at the king's advisor.
WYTE: What's the date?
ADVISOR: Niviber 22, 1912.
He turns back to Hitch.
WYTE: I say the Arragonian MK5s are fine, especially when the Hillions have that.
He motions to the armored tractor, which has started to spew flames from its engine, with the panicked engineers trying to put it out. Hitch still persists but at that point it's mostly out of spite. The king agrees to the proposal, but it will take more convincing to the home country and even more convincing to the Arragonians to make it feasible.
