April 3rd, 2026. Linskey Naval Forces Anchorage. Dimension 367, Murmansk.

A disastrous naval campaign has come to an end. Though Linskey's forces should have had the upper hand, due to more modern vessels, when coming into contact with Republic forces. That had not been the case as most of the Linskey fleet had been interned or destroyed not at the hands of the Republic, but at the hands of the GDA. When conflict broke out, both the Republic and Linskey sent their naval vessels to various less frequented dimensions to establish safe anchorages for wounded or less able vessels to be repaired without the worry of imminent attack. After a Russian naval skirmish occurred in dimension 233, the UN enacted a dimensional blockade the first of its kind. This was to prevent a potential conflict totally encompassing our world if the skirmish turns into a battle and foreign armies stationed in the dimension get pulled into it. Though nations didn't enforce this in fear of terroristic reprisals from Linskey and to keep some sense of peace. The US on the other hand eradicates any Russian vessel that refuses to surrender. Thus is the case of the anchorage in 367, given warning of attack if they do not scatter and return to their home ports. It was promptly ignored by the admiral in charge, a decision he would soon come to regret.

High above the city elements of the US 28th stealth bomber squadron, circle in a holding pattern. Waiting for the clock to strike midnight which would make the warning a definite. As the hands inched closer to the deadline the B-21s began to pick targets completely concealed from the unsuspecting warships below. Stealth variants of the F-56 fly past the formation to establish superiority against any locals trying to interfere. Just as the hands meet at midnight, the lead B-21s bomb bay doors open and down goes a quick sink. Heading directly towards the fleet's flagship, the battleship Aurora, and plunges through the unarmored deck right next to the forward magazine. The Royal Sovereign class battleship goes up in a ball of fire, splitting near the magazine and hastily settles on the harbor's floor. More ships follow soon after, detonating in tremendous eruptions that shatter and concuss the vessels moored around them. Linskey ships open up with conventional flak and Laser AA trying to fend off the unseen menace. Missiles start to go skyward but quickly go awry as they aren't able to target the bombers, with some even doing a 180 and slamming into their launchers. Three destroyers and a couple Cruisers attempt a breakout and dash for the entrance of the harbor. Only to be met with spreads of torpedoes dropped by the newly introduced super Catalina float plane. Who quickly duck low to avoid the AA fire now focused on them. That fire gets cut short when multiple torpedoes hit their marks splitting a cruiser in half and capsizing the destroyers. The remaining escapees beach themselves on the banks of the harbor, and begin evacuating. Though all that does is make them prime targets for the B-21s that have yet released their payload. Quick sinks are meant for ocean use, but this day proved they're also highly effective on land based targets. As the beached ships become burning hulks of twisted steel.

Seeing their jobs done the squadron pulls away to leave the dimension. In their wake the strongest Linskey anchorage gushes smog into the sky as the fires aboard the many vessels claim victory over their crews. Dawn came more hardships when tomahawks and cruise missiles strike the relatively untouched shore facilities. Further denying this anchorage for future uses and turning the dimension against the people loyal to Linskey. What remaining ships that can still move under their own power, quickly leave port and gain distance away from the smoldering ruins. US forces would leave these vessels alone seeing them of little worth and instead focus on securing the ships in harbor that can still be salvaged. USS St Lowe enters the harbor with little resistance and is shortly followed by USS Richmond and USS Salt Lake City. A half sunken cruiser attempts to fire it's dual mounted deck gun at the trio, but it goes wide and harmlessly explodes on a capsized destroyer. The three American cruisers respond by swiveling the deck guns to port and volley fire the cruiser until it's remaining ammunition stowage goes off. Sending it to join it's fellow cruisers in davy jones company.

Two destroyers, one Helicopter carrier, and four patrol craft. Were secured in relative quick order, being placed under tow and sent to Norfolk Naval Yard back home. By the end of the fourth these vessels would be patched up to were they wouldn't immediately sink. Sent to Alaska and set adrift ending up upon the shores of Republic controlled Siberia. Coincidently a small Republic fleet consisting of fuel tankers and repair ships happened to be in the exact area they washed up on. In the coming months these ships would be repaired and sworn into the Republic's navy playing pivotal roles in the battles to come. Linskey of course responded in threats, pandering, and posturing. Though stopped short of actions against the opposing force. Unable to lash out on the US, he would resort to more terror bombings across Republic controlled areas leading to reprisals from the Republic. So on and so forth, the war continues, more men die, innocents burn, the land brought to rot, and the western world watches on completely contempt with these state of affairs. All the while accepting refugees and making grand speeches about love and friendship. While beneath the surface sickness starts to bubble to the surface, under the noses of those who pretend to care. US Congress watches on in growing horror at the unseen depth of the mess Western Europe is unknowingly creating. As the bombers of the 28th squadron touch down and begin taxing to their hangers, in pure bliss at the situation of the storm emitting from the Russian steppes and threatening to dowse out the flames of European democracy.
