Military Equipment Phased Out And Replacements. Simplified Transcript From the Pentagon Given To Congress On April 6th, 2026. Abominations Or Equipment not Seen As Potential Replacements Not Available.

The main battle tank of the US armed forces, the M1 Abrams, was replaced with the newer M1A6SPV-Z Abrams. This tank is the most advanced on the battlefield with multiple detection sensors for missiles, a new driving compartment to give the driver a 360 degree view of their surroundings. A new 132mm main gun that gives the tank a better range and better piercing potential. New counter measures against anti tank missiles, one of which fries the missile's sensors causing it to stray off course. Better armor protection and a new 76-A19 Diesel engine capable of pushing the tank to 80 MPH if pushed to its extent. It is also capable of a low idle that silences the engine, but still gives enough energy to push the tank at 15 MPH if the situation requires it. A first strike variant is available that adds a new hatch position with an M134 mounted mini gun to help gain fire superiority over opposing infantry. Lighter armor gives it a better range and speed, but lacks the protection given by a normal M1A6. This variant is in limited numbers and was only made to be dropped with airborne and special forces units. More in depth information is available in the non simplified transcript.

The Bradley IFV, wasn't replaced but had some new variants enter service. The Laser Bradley, as named by the troops, is a bradley whose main gun has been replaced by a M12A-9 Anti-Air Laser Element. A Cuboid the same length as a M242 bushmaster 34.2 inches tall and 34.2 inches wide. The turret wasn't changed to incorporate the new weapon, besides 2 main power cores attached to the back of the Cuboid and running to the turret ring. The infantry transport area was repurposed into a battery housing area to power the main gun, with wire connecting it to a control box near the turret ring. The turret ring is made of a mixture of steel, bronze, and 293. This combination when given jolts of electricity emits a light purple hue of plasma that can be magnified into the cuboid making the laser. The laser is deadly for 5 seconds before being as useless as a laser pointer, needing 30 seconds to recharge. No problems have emerged with this as the laser can travel at a speed of Mach 1. To give the Laser Bradley a chance against infantry if encountered, a .50 caliber machine gun is mounted near the main hatch, with a coax machine gun replacing the tow missile box. This Bradley is a rear line vehicle, but has been proven to be quite capable in front line service against up armored and unarmored vehicles.

The F-56, has been introduced as a replacement for the F-16, F-15, F-18, F-22, and F-35. Its design incorporates many elements from each aircraft. The F-22s stealth capabilities, the bombing capabilities of the F-16, the engine structure of the F-35, the carrier capabilities of the F-18, and the looks and maneuverability of an F-15. A stealth variant does exist but any further information has been excluded.

The Scarf M5 Battle Rifle. Is a rifle designed and built by Buck Armaments'. It is chambered in 7.62x57 to provide more distance and armor piercing potential (7.62x57 is a 7.62x51 NATO cartridge with more powder behind it. Made as a response to the many threats encountered through various dimensions) it replaced all the current rifles in service, mainly the FN Fal B1 which replaced the M4. Its name is a play on words from the Scar 17 and the M4 set of rifles. The F was added to avoid legal issues with Fabrique Nationale.

The A-10 Warthog, was moved to worlds unable to shoot it down. Worlds that don't have modern technology or technology before the 1920's at most. Even with this development it can be used to ambush unsuspecting modern foes, but can only do 1 run or 2 at best before taking significant groundfire. It does not have an official replacement, but an armored crop duster was chosen out of the other candidates to supply close air support for forces in said dimensions due to the upkeep being cheaper. Also good at counteracting shipping especially Russian warships whose radars aren't able to pick it up if flying close to the water. The A-10 has also been proven to be effective at anti-shipping, especially its main rotary cannon. The Skyraider has also been field tested on if it could be a more viable replacement but more testing is needed.

Digital Camo, the digital camo pattern was replaced by a modernized version of the BDU pattern. Due to the monsters of the Mato Dimension ( Not Azeal, but what was Azeal's previous sub dimension as people still confuse the 2 ) being able to see the Digital camo as neon pink. When more contact was made with D-89 it was found out the mutants that were born from nuclear fallout centuries ago. Also see Digital Camo as neon pink, not wanting to risk it. Testing was started to see what worked and a modified BDU type pattern worked as intended. Plain Olive drab equipment is also making a comeback to ease manufacturing, but it will most likely be switched to this new BDU pattern once recruitment numbers slow.

The vast majority of the Ticonderoga Class Space Cruisers, were phased out of service and replaced with the Virginia Class Nuclear Space Cruiser. A design from the cold war modernized it still retains most of its original design, but has a built in cruise missile launcher in an extended middle section just before the stern. Fitted out with the new Mk83s the ship has the potential maximum of 40 knots when airborne and a minimum of 15. Compared to the Alleigh Burke destroyers maximum 25, the battleships maximum of 35, and the carriers maximum of 36. The Virginia Class Space Cruiser is the fastest in the air. In the vacuum of space however they're all equally fast. The Virginia Class design is also more compatible with the Nuclear space engine and more stable than the Ticonderoga, which had a tendency to black out when the engines were turned on and the only solution was to redesign the ship.

The Black Hawk helicopter was semi replaced by the Osprey and those not replaced were modernized to keep up with its Osprey counterpart.

Though not really replacing anything at the moment a troop transport variant of the HEMTT A4 was introduced and is expected to replace all existing troop trucks by 2028.

The M3 25 artillery platform was replaced by an M3 25 without the platform. The M3 25 was built on an Paladin chassis but with an upper extension with an open platform due the Omerian 75 ( Gun on the Omerian artillery Walker ) not fitting in the turret. Due to the rush to employ this powerful artillery piece on a tracked vehicle rather than a slow moving walker, the tall design was kept until things calmed down enough for them to be pulled from the fronts for upgrades. The new upgrade gets rid of the upper extension and builds a new turret to lower its profile and give protection to the gun from shrapnel.

The many outdated APCs( Besides the Striker APCs, as more modern variant entered service 5 months ago and are expected to have the same service life as the new APCs ) the military had in service have either been sidelined for non militarily roles or phased out entirely by the AMPV. which entered service in 2022 and will be in service for an estimated period of 30 years.

The Alin gas mask has started to replace the older models of gas masks in service. Out of its prototype phase the Alin gas mask will be in service for years to come. Incorporating new experimental designs such as the lenses being able to switch from night vision and thermal and its advanced filtration system that, combined with its accompanying hood, can protect the user from anything short of Chernobyl's Elephant's Foot.

A lot of equipment and the sorts were replaced following the rapid advance of technology, but this is a list of the important and widespread changes. Data on the transcript are things the public are able to find with a little digging, congress made sure to exclude confidential information in case the transcript is leaked.
