"NATO is a relic of a time no more."

UN HEAD: Okay, we'll come back to the debate of allowing other dimensions to establish embassies in our dimension on a later date, now on to—

The UN head shuffles through a few papers on his desk.

UN HEAD: The issue of the base relocation in the Mato dimension.

The US rep stands up.

US: That is a US matter, not a UN matter.

The French rep stands up.

FRANCE: This is a UN matter, considering the UN set up the base in the first place before you absorbed it into your own.

US: Well I don't see any other military forces besides ours stationed there.

The UN heads silence the two reps.

UN HEAD: We agree with the US on that the Mato base relocation is a US matter, due to them being the only ones maintaining the base and them being the only ones occupying it.

US: Thank you.

UN HEAD: Do you have any locations in mind?

The US rep shuffles his papers.

US: It says here, somewhere on the coast of that world's California.

UN HEAD: Alright that's the end of this matter.

The US rep sits down, shooting the French rep a shit eating grin.

UN HEAD: Now onto a more important matter that's been on the agenda since 2016, and that is the issue on whether or not the Innerworld should be put under UN jurisdiction or be kept under Japan's. Japan you have the floor.

Japan's rep stands

JAPAN: thank you, we are still in the belief that we should keep full jurisdiction over the Innerworld. Due to the fact that our people are in direct harm due to it's location, Putting the Innerworld under UN control will allow countries that can't be trusted access to the world.

The Russian rep stands up.

RUSSIA: Though I agree with your reasons, it has been almost 9 years since that gateway opened, and all you had done was get yourself stuck like the Americans did in Afghanistan. You gave it your best, but I think it's time to end that conflict.

The Chinese rep stands up.

CHINA: These excuses will get us nowhere, the only reason that Japan is refusing to allow any countries into the Innerworld is to keep the strategic world as a bargaining chip.

JAPAN: That isn't true we allowed the US to enter after a year.

The French rep stands up slamming her fist on the table.

FRANCE: The only reason you allowed them in, is because they would've gone in anyway with or without your approval, and you only gave the approval to help soothe tensions over the Rift.

The UN heads once again silence the bickering representatives. After the room falls silent the representatives take their seats. The silence is broken by one of the heads clearing their throat.

UN HEAD: We will come back to this topic on a later date.

The UN heads whisper to each before all agreeing on something.
