Po and Zhen made their way back to The Chameleon's fortress and got to work. The sun had started to set as they climbed the wall and found a way through the tunnels and instantly reached the courtyard, stepped out of the hole and stood right in front of The Chameleon's main entrance.

The place should've been heavily guarded by the enchanted statues, who should've jumped them upon their arrival, but there was no statue in sight. An eerie silence washed over them the longer they stood there.

"I don't like this, Zhen." Po mumbled to Zhen. "This place should be guarded by those statues and now they're nowhere to be seen."

"Maybe they're still out in the city looking for us." Zhen replied.

Po quickly grew suspicious of everything around him and felt that there was something else going on, but he couldn't exactly tell what.

"I don't know."

"Come on! We gotta hurry, before they come back here!" Zhen whisper-shouted, urging him to follow her.

Not wanting to let Zhen go in there alone and still feeling doubtful, he tiptoed right after her, keeping his guard up. They stepped through the large, round, open gate. All seemed to go smoothly, until they heard the loud clanking and stomping from the statues sounding from beneath the stairs and making their way to them.

Startled, Po tried to remain discreet and fast as Zhen reached for a nearby lever and pulled it down, closing the gate behind them, hoping to keep the statues from spotting them. Just as they were about to run off, they saw two magenta orbs glowing in the dark at the end of the round hall.

Gasping, they realized there were at least four booby traps at the end of the hall, each of them having either spinning blades, obstacles and metal jaws opening and closing. All of them were activated and they all shot straight at them. Po and Zhen glanced back at each other and smirked, determined to make it past these traps.

Both of them jumped through the gaps of each of them with success, the blades narrowly cutting off the tips of their fur, but they still managed to get out in one piece and were now inside The Chameleon's fortress.

"Alright, we're in." Po mumbled.

Despite his heart racing from the adrenaline, Po kept his composure and carefully made his way down the stairs.

"Master Shifu?" Po whisper-shouted. "Master Shifu?"

"Po?" Shifu groaned, still clinging onto the bars of his cage.

"Shifu! We're back and we're here to bust you out, restore your kung fu and get back the Staff of Wisdom. Right, Zhen?"

Po turned to his left to face Zhen, but she wasn't there. Looking ahead of him, he saw Zhen sprinting down the stairs and stood motionless in the middle of the room.

"Zhen?!"

But then he heard a loud clank and looking up, he saw one of the cages falling down from above and would trap Zhen if he didn't do something.

"Zhen, look out!" Po yelled.

"Po, no!" Shifu cried out.

He practically sprinted down the stairs, across the room and pushed Zhen out of the way, before the cage came crashing down and trapped him in the middle of the room. Po's dread kept growing worse as he realized he wouldn't be able to bust his way out of the cage when he and the others couldn't even bust Shifu out of his cage.

But despite that, he balled his fists and punched the cell bars with all his might, grunting and yelling loudly, until his knuckles started to hurt.

"Po, stop. It's no use!" Shifu pled from Po's right.
