Jimin spent the whole day resting in bed, his ankle still aching whenever he tried to move. He had planned to get up and do something productive, but every time he shifted, a sharp pain reminded him that he needed to take it easy.
As the evening rolled in, there was a gentle knock on his cottage door. Before he could even get up, the door opened, and Grandma walked in, her warm eyes immediately scanning him with concern.
"Jimin, dear, why didn’t you come today? I was waiting for you to go to the park," she said, sitting beside him on the edge of the bed.
Jimin smiled sheepishly. "I’m sorry, Grandma. I actually fell and sprained my leg earlier, so I couldn’t walk properly."
Her eyes widened with worry. "Oh, my poor child! Why didn’t you tell me earlier?"
"It’s nothing serious, really. I’ve been resting, and it’s already feeling a bit better," Jimin reassured her.
She sighed, shaking her head. "You should take care of yourself, Jimin. I’ll make sure dinner is sent here to your cottage tonight. No need for you to get up and cook."
Jimin immediately shook his head. "Oh no, Grandma, I can manage—"
She raised her hand, cutting him off. "No arguments. You need to rest, and I won’t have you limping around the kitchen. Now, just relax, okay?"
Jimin chuckled softly, feeling warmth spread through his chest at her care. "Alright, Grandma. Thank you."
She patted his hand gently before standing up. "Take care, dear. If you need anything, just call me."
As she left, Jimin leaned back against the pillows, smiling to himself. He wasn’t used to being taken care of like this, but it felt... nice.
It was around 8 PM, and Jimin was lying in bed, feeling restless and thirsty. He tried to sit up, planning to get some water from the kitchen. He carefully swung his legs off the bed, wincing as his sprained ankle sent a sharp pain through his body.
Determined to get up, he stood on his foot, but the pain was too much, and his vision blurred. Before he could even take a step, he felt his body sway dangerously.
Just as he was about to lose his balance, a pair of strong arms wrapped around his waist, catching him effortlessly.
"Careful," Yoongi's voice came through, low and firm, as he steadied Jimin, his grip firm but gentle.
Jimin looked up at Yoongi, slightly surprised to see him there. "H-Hyung... I-I was just going to get some water," he stammered, feeling embarrassed.
Yoongi's expression softened slightly, but he didn’t let go of Jimin. "I saw you trying to stand up. You're in no condition to walk around yet."
"I just needed some water," Jimin mumbled, his cheeks flushing.
Jimin blinked in surprise, still holding onto Yoongi's shoulders as he regained his balance. He stared at him, feeling both a little embarrassed and confused.
