Yoongi's Life in LA
Los Angeles was everything Yoongi had expected-fast-paced, competitive, and full of opportunities. Over the past year, he had built a name for himself, growing his father's company into something even more powerful. He had spent endless hours in meetings, negotiations, and handling projects that would make any ordinary person collapse under pressure.
And Yoongi? He thrived in it.
But that didn't mean he didn't miss home.
Didn't miss Jimin.
At first, he had called Jimin every night, their conversations lasting for hours, filled with laughter, teasing, and sometimes silence when they simply enjoyed each other's presence. But as months passed, responsibilities piled up, and time slipped through his fingers. The calls became shorter, less frequent, until they almost stopped altogether.
It wasn't intentional-he just got too busy.
And now, sitting in his office late at night, staring at his phone, he felt the weight of it all.
Had Jimin eaten well? Was he still taking care of Grandma? Did he still miss him?
Yoongi sighed, rubbing his temple. Of course, he does. Right?

At the Office
"Mr. Min, the meeting with the investors is scheduled for 3 PM tomorrow. Do you want to review the proposal now or in the morning?"
Yoongi glanced up from his laptop at his secretary, nodding. "I'll go through it in the morning. Send me the final draft by tonight."
Just as the secretary left, the door opened again, and a familiar voice chimed in.
"Busy as always, huh?"
Yoongi looked up and saw Soojin standing by the doorway, a small smirk on her lips. She walked in with the grace of someone who had been raised in the business world-elegant, confident, and undeniably intelligent. She was the daughter of one of his company's biggest business partners, and over the past six months, they had become good friends.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at your father's event?" Yoongi asked, leaning back in his chair.
Soojin rolled her eyes and sat on the couch. "It was boring. A bunch of old men talking about stocks and investments for hours. I'd rather be here."
Yoongi chuckled. "You're literally handling a company. This is your world now."
"Doesn't mean I have to enjoy every part of it," she said with a shrug. Then, noticing the thoughtful look on Yoongi's face, she tilted her head. "Something on your mind?"
Yoongi hesitated before shaking his head. "Nothing important."
Soojin studied him for a moment before sighing. "It's about Jimin, isn't it?"
