After their romantic dinner date, Yoongi and Jimin found themselves back at Yoongi's office the next day. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow through the glass windows as Jimin sat on the plush couch, sipping on a latte that Yoongi had made for him.

Yoongi was going through some documents, but his focus kept drifting back to Jimin, who seemed lost in thought. Noticing the subtle sadness in Jimin's eyes, Yoongi placed the papers down and moved to sit beside him.

"What's on your mind?" Yoongi asked gently, brushing his fingers against Jimin's hand.

Jimin looked up, his eyes soft yet tinged with melancholy. "I was just... thinking about your grandmother."

Yoongi's expression softened. "Grandma? What about her?"

Jimin smiled wistfully. "I miss her so much. She was always so kind to me. You know, she was the one who helped me when I first came to the mansion. Three years ago, I was just sitting in the garden, unsure of what to do with my life.. I was struggling to find work.

Yoongi listened intently, his heart aching at the thought of that.

Jimin continued, a fond smile appearing on his face. "She found me there. She just sat beside me, We talked for a while, and I told her about my situation. She was so gentle, asking me about my dreams and why I looked so sad."

A tear slipped from Jimin's eye as he chuckled softly. "She then offered me a job as her caretaker. Said that someone as kind and gentle as me would make her days much brighter. I couldn't believe it at first. She even let me stay in the little cottage behind your mansion."

Yoongi squeezed Jimin's hand, his own heart heavy with guilt for not doing anything for his love at that time he just always pushed him and insulted him every time whenever they used to cross paths back then. But he's happy that his grandmother had helped Jimin back then.

Jimin wiped his tears, his voice trembling. "When I left the mansion... I didn’t get to say goodbye to her. Your parents—Mr. and Mrs. Min—told me to leave without making any fuss. They didn’t want me to contact you or come back. I just... left quietly. But it hurt, Hyung. It hurt not being able to see her one last time or thank her for everything she did for me."

Yoongi pulled Jimin into a comforting embrace, his hand gently caressing his back. "I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I had no idea. If I had known, I would’ve never let them force you out like that."

Jimin buried his face in Yoongi’s chest, his shoulders trembling. "I just... miss her. She was like the grandmother I never had. She didn’t judge me or make me feel small. She just... loved me."

Yoongi kissed the top of Jimin's head, his heart aching. "She misses you too, Baby. I know she does. I’ll make sure you see her. I promise."

Jimin nodded, holding onto Yoongi tightly, feeling comforted by his warmth. Despite the pain of the past, Yoongi's embrace made him feel safe, just like those days when he found solace in the kindness of the Min family’s grandmother.
