Aaran:
I fell down on the floor looking at the divorce papers which Aaidah threw at me. I didn’t thought she would do this. ‘Do you want her to fuck you after what you did?’ My subconscious mind mocked me. Right.. What was I expecting after I have hurt her. ‘Hurt her? You left her to die.’ My subconscious mind said. I groaned in annoyance. I'm already devastated and my subconscious mind is pissing me off more. I sood up and grabbed the divorce papers, putting it on my desk's drawer and locking it. I will never sign it.
I came back to reality by my phone ringing. Ahren is calling me. Everyone will call me now though until now I didn’t pick up anyone’s call but I will pick up Ahren's call. “Come to the office right now!” With that saying Ahren hung up the call. I frowned. What else could go wrong now? I know everything about what Aaidah did. She tarnished my reputation in the business world including the underground world. Everyone will make fun of me saying how I have let a woman ruin my reputation like this. I don't care about all these things anymore. I only care about Aaidah now.
I took a deep breath before I grabbed my coat and left my house, ignoring my family's gaze on me. It must be something really important if Ahren told me to go to the office and hung up the call right away. I got inside my car and started driving at the highest speed not caring about the traffic rules. Since I drove fast it didn’t take me too much time to reach my office.
I got out from my car only to be met with fire in front of me. My office building is burning in fire. My hardwork is turning into ashes. It didn’t take me long to know who did this. Fuck- I didn’t thought that Aaidah would do anything else besides ruining my reputation and divorcing me but I was so wrong. I forgot what she is capable of doing. I forgot how dangerous Aaidah becomes for the people she hates. And at this moment I realized that now Aaidah hates me more than anything in this world.
“Aaran?!” I turned my head to look at Ahren then around my office building. Fire service's people are struggling to stop the fire. My employees are roaming around. It's clear that they are stressed because so many important files and documents are inside the building. “Is anyone hurt?” Ahren shook his head negatively. “Apparently the fire alarm rang suddenly so everyone came out of the building then the fire started. So thankfully no one is hurt.” As expected Aaidah won't hurt any innocent person because of me.
I can feel Ahren's eyes on me. I know he wants answer. But what else should I say? People who are close to me knows why this is happening. I don't want to explain anything. I don't even want to care about my business. Right! Aaidah- I should go to her house. If it's necessary I will even get on my knees for her in front of the whole world if that means she will forgive me.
“I'm going to Aaidah's house. Take care of everything here and make sure no one gets hurt including the firefighters.” I told Ahren then got inside my car, driving to Aaidah's house. Her house is far away from my office so it took almost an hour for me to reach. I quickly got out and went towards her home, ringing the doorbell repeatedly. From outside I can hear Azir crying. I frowned thinking why is he crying.
The door opened revealing Aaidah's maa. She also looks like she cried. “Maa where is Aai-” I got cut off by her maa's voice, “She left.” Maa's voice is bitter and cold. This is the first time her maa is talking to me like this otherwise she is always so sweet towards me. “W-where?” My voice is almost breaking. “I don't know. No one knows! She just bid goodbye to us then left. She s-said that she-” Her maa started to cry unable to speak furthermore. Just then her baba came with Azir in his arms. “She told us not to find her otherwise we will find her death body.” My eyes widened in shock. She didn’t said that. She wouldn’t do anything to herself.
