No Caffeine Challenge

Branch walked into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee when he realized the pot was empty.

Branch shrugged it off and grabbed the canister out of the cabinet to make another pot but when he picked it up he realized it was also empty.

"I had just bought this can of coffee like a week and half ago. Where did it all go?" Branch thought as he held the canister, feeling how it was empty as the last little bit of grounds slid around inside.

Branch walked into the living room with canister in hand where each of his brothers sat, playing a video game, three of which practically lived with him.

"Hey, does anyone know what happened to all the coffee?" Branch asked as he held up the empty coffee canister.

"Nope, I got here yesterday. Only had a single cup this morning." Bruce said, tearing his eyes away from the screen to look at Branch for a moment.

"No. We're out of coffee again? I'll go to the store to buy some more if you want me to." John Dory said, spamming the buttons on his controller.

"Yeah, if you could." Branch sighed as he tossed the can onto the couch next to his brother.

"When did you buy that? Seems like you were shocked to be out." Bruce asked, smirking at the frustrated noises coming from Clay.

"Like a week and a half ago. Didn't expect to be out so soon but then again, I'm still not used to living with people." Branch grumbled, leaning against the armchair Floyd was sitting in.

"The four of you went through a whole canister of coffee within a week and a half? That's like 200 cups of coffee! That's freaking 50 cups for each of you!"" Bruce spoke in shock.

"That's....that's not that bad." Clay mumbled, sticking his tongue out as he was too focused on the game to actually hear what his brother had said.

"Clay, how many cups of coffee is that within the week and half you guys have had that can of coffee?" Bruce asked, setting his controller down.

JD paused the game, finally breaking the trance Floyd and Clay were in from the game.

"Um, so about 200 cups in the canister, 200 divided by 4 is 50, it's been about a week and a half since we got it so that's eleven, 50 divided by 11 is like....4ish?" Clay said, slumping with his controller in his lap.

"So that's four cups of coffee roughly each day for a week and a half." Bruce said, shaking his head.

"Actually, I don't drink coffee. I drink tea." Floyd pipes up, smirking.

"What's the math on that Clay?" Bruce looks down at Clay.

Clay mumbles to himself for a moment before biting his lip and letting out a big sigh.

Bruce lets out a questioning 'hmm' before Clay actually answers.

"It's six. Six cups of coffee." he says quietly, looking off in the distance.

"Six?! You guys drink about six cups of coffee a day?" Bruce shouts as he stands up.

John Dory, Clay and Branch look away sheepishly.

"That's not good. That's way more caffeine than any troll should have in a day!" Bruce rubs his face.

Floyd chuckled softly as he watched the other three get scolded by Bruce.

"How many cups of tea do you have a day Floyd?" Bruce turns towards Floyd, cocking an eyebrow.

"Um, three. Sometimes four." Floyd shrugs.

"That's still a lot of caffeine. I think you guys have a caffeine problem." Bruce sighed, leaning forward on the couch.

"Psh, no we don't. How many cups of coffee do you have a day?" Branch snipped, crossing his arms.
