Request: "Couldyou write a story about Y/n, but she is like wolf inside and human outside. Shechange into werewolf but inside. Wednesday, her girlfriend, needs to keep herin the room cause she can't behave or stay still in one place."
A/N: The video above is a lovely Animation I first watched when I was younger. When I saw this request it reminded me of this beautiful work! So, I wanted to pay tribute to it. And I hope if you decide to watch it, it makes you smile the same it did for me.
You awoke to the smell of breakfast being cooked in your dorm, but last you checked you roommate had gone out for the weekend to visit their parents. So, you lifted your head up groggily to see Wednesday standing in the small kitchen, working away on some bacon and sausages in a pan, as well as some fried eggs.
You didn't say anything, too tired to speak as you got out of bed and made your way over to her, hugging her from behind with your chin on her shoulder, watching how she expertly flips the food with the tongs. "Morning." She greeted you, no discernible joy in her voice.
"Mhm." Was your hummed reply as you bury your nose into her black sweater. When your brain finally got into a semi-functioning sense you spoke again, "How did you get in?" Your words were muffled by the fabric that clung to her.
"Hiding the spare key next to the plant pot outside your front door is not only obvious, but increases the risk of a break in. I suggest you find a better placement for it." She huffed, disappointed at your lack of self-preservation as she plates up the food, handing it you with a quick kiss to the tip of your nose. "Now, wash those dirty paws before eating puppy."
You groaned in annoyance at the nickname but comply to her instructions before you took a seat on your bed to eat your breakfast.
"Today is a big day." She noted, drawing your attention to the calendar you had on your desk where a red circle was on the current day of the week, in your messy handwriting was sprawled 'full moon'.
"I know..." You sighed softly, already dreading what's to come tonight.
When you were younger, you went camping with your parents. The area was known for its wolf population, you always liked wolves as a kid so when your parents let you stray too far from the campsite you wandered upon a wolf's den.
It was empty when you stepped into it, being small meant you could easily fit into the uncomfortable places, but you ended up finding a litter of puppies, around 6 weeks old. They were all quite happy to see you and being 6 at the time you didn't really understand the dangers of being a mother wolf's sanctum.
So, you stayed to play with the puppies for a bit, then the mother got home. She was wary of you at first, sniffing and growling at you as a precaution, but when she saw how her young responded to you and how you easily adapted to wolf play, she ended up taking you in as her own.
Which caused your parents to worry when you hadn't heard their call for dinner. They searched for you frantically for most of the night, they were yelling your name and searching all over for you before night fall.
When you did hear them eventually, you tried to leave the den. But a firm, gentle bite to your leg stopped you. It was the mother wolf, trying to keep you from danger. You tried to explain that you had to go back, but she wouldn't let you go, growling softly as a warning.
You started to cry from fear; all you wanted was to see your parents and seeing the wolf's sharp fangs had you petrified. Your cries were heard by your parents who had come over to rescue you and pull you out the den, thinking you had gone into a mini cave and got lost in it for the last few hours. They couldn't see what was preventing you from leaving, causing them to think you got your foot stuck.
