49. Crime on the top

Gemini and Fourth couldn't understand why people gave them weird looks when they walked together to the canteen to eat some breakfast. All the Knights seemed to wispear something to each other while looking judgingly on both boys.

“I feel somehow weird”, Fourth admitted, when they sat down with plates full of food.

“Me too. I have the feeling that they're talking about us, but what could it be? The fact that you are pregnant?”

“No, I don’t think so, they know it for a while now, it can't be it”, Nattawat grimaced, not quite sure what to think or how to react. Something was clearly wrong, and it was clearly about the two of them, or at least one of them. The answer came very quickly. Gemini was drinking his morning coffee when Joong came up behind him and shoved a printed text under his nose that looked like a newspaper article with a big headline.

Gemini spat out coffee from the shock and accidentally sprayed it on Fourth, and would have destroyed the piece of paper given to him if Joong had not anticipated his reaction during the vacation and had not taken the paper away. Phuwin, who just walked in and sat next to them to watch new drama(Joong told him and Dunk before they came in, so Phu and Dunk were so ready to observe and enjoy new drama, especially because both of them knew Gemini's explosive nature and understood perfectly well how easy it was to sometimes throw him off balance, and this text should certainly at least shake him up a bit), helped Fourth wipe off some coffee.

“I was… WHAT?! WHOSE DAMN JOKE WAS THAT?! THIS ISN'T EVEN FUNNY!”

Fourth picked up the paper Joong was holding and started reading. His eyebrow was raising higher and higher as he read the text. At the end he laughed as if he heard the funniest joke ever. Joong smiled too. Only Gemini wasn’t happy about it.

“Congrats Gem, you did what you wanted at the beginning, you killed me”, Fourth said and laughed again.

“What’s so funny about that?! I never wanted to kill you! I wanted to protect you! What shit is this?!” Gemini clearly was angry.

“Calm down, my GemGem, and read the text. It's really funny that someone came up with that idea. I must say they are creative”, Nattawat handed the paper to Norawit and welcomed their friends.

Yesterday’s evening in their shared apartment their friend, Pond Naravit, found the body of gaining fame and rising  star of BL industry Fourth Nattawat. Today’s morning police arrested another rising star, his on screen partner, Gemini Norawit.

«We can’t discuss it any further, we can only confirm that it wasn’t an accident nor self-harm», Says a young policeman, who asked us to not reveal his identity. Our source informed us that Nattawat was found dead in his own bedroom. He had 27 injuries, including cuts and gunshot wounds. We do not have confirmation yet that his on-screen partner is responsible for his death, but his arrest can be considered unequivocal.
