As Tae and Kook walked downstairs, they saw everyone already gathered in the living room, waiting.
Waan was sitting on the couch, checking his phone. "See? I got ready in time."
Yacht smirked. "I'll believe that when I see what's inside your bag. You probably packed three extra outfits." Waan pouted. "What if I feel like changing?"
Ohm chuckled, nudging Fluke beside him. "Why does this feel like a school field trip?. Fluke smiled. "Because we rarely get to go out together like this."
Sammy clapped her hands. "Alright, everyone's here. Let's go before the stores close!"
Everyone stood up, grabbing their wallets and phones. Tae and Kook followed behind as they stepped outside. The fresh afternoon air was warm but breezy, making the weather perfect for an outing.
As they walked towards their car, yacht glanced back at Tae and Kook. "You two are unusually quiet today."
Tae shrugged. "Just saving my energy for shopping."Boun smirked. "That's new. Usually, you and Kook bicker about something random by now."
Kook huffed. "We don't bicker." Tae raised an eyebrow. "Really kookie? What about the time you argued with me for twenty minutes about pineapple on pizza?"
"That's a serious debate," Kook muttered.Everyone laughed, and the tension that had been lingering around Kook finally seemed to lighten.
As they got into the cars, Tae and Kook ended up in the same seat at the back, their arms brushing lightly. Kook stiffened for a moment but tried to act natural.

Of course it wasn't new for him but after last night, it seems different. Tae noticed and smirked. "Relax, Kookie. I don't bite."
Kook rolled his eyes. "Just focus on the shopping, hyungie."
Tae grinned, resting his head against the window. The soft hum of the car ride made him sleepy, and without realizing it, his head slowly fell onto Kook's shoulder.
Kook's breath hitched, his body tensing. He glanced down at Tae, who was breathing softly, completely unaware of what he had done.
Ohm, who was sitting in the front seat, turned slightly and smirked. "You okay back there, Kook?"
Kook quickly looked away. "I-I'm fine."Fluke giggled. "You look like you just saw a ghost."
Kook sighed. No, just a sleepy Tae, which might be worse.
As the car continued towards the shopping district, Kook let out a small breath, forcing himself to stay still. Tae was still sleeping peacefully, completely oblivious to how much Kook's heart was racing.
