The next day, Taehyung woke up first. He was still holding Jungkook close, their bodies warm under the blankets. A little light slipped in through the closed curtains, just enough for Taehyung to see Jungkook's face even in the dim room.
He looked at Jungkook’s sleeping face and smiled. His hair was messy, and his lips were slightly parted.
“You’re still sleeping after last night?” Taehyung whispered with a playful smile.
He gently ran his fingers along Jungkook’s back, and Jungkook slowly began to wake up, his eyes blinking open.
Jungkook opened his eyes slowly and saw Taehyung close to him, making his heart race. “Hyungie…” he called out shyly.
“Yes, my cute little moon,” Taehyung replied, making Jungkook blush even more.
“Well, good morning to you too, I guess,” Taehyung added with a smirk, earning a light hit on his chest from Jungkook.
“Oh, it hurts!” Jungkook said dramatically, placing his hand on his chest. He rolled his eyes and added, “Don’t act, Hyungie.”
“I’m not acting, it really hurts. Maybe a kiss can heal it,” Tae said with a smirk, moving closer to Jungkook.
Jungkook could feel Taehyung’s breath on his face. “Stop it, Hyungie,” he whispered, his voice flustered. “Please, just one kiss rabbit,” Tae asked sweetly.
Jungkook smiled shyly, and Tae immediately understood. Tae leaned in slowly, his bare chest brushing lightly against the blanket as he hovered closer, eyes locked with Jungkook’s. The soft morning light made his skin glow, and Jungkook’s breath caught in his throat.
When their lips met, it was slow and full of warmth—tender and deep like they had all the time in the world. Jungkook’s hands instinctively reached up, wrapping gently around Taehyung’s neck, pulling him closer. The warmth of Taehyung’s skin against his fingertips sent soft shivers through him.
Taehyung kissed him sweetly, his hand resting at Jungkook’s waist, fingers caressing gently as their lips moved in sync—gentle, slow, and full of quiet emotion. The kiss deepened just a little, not rushed, just enough to speak all the love they felt without saying a word.
When they finally parted, their foreheads touched, breaths mingling in the space between.
“Now that,” Taehyung whispered, his voice low and affectionate, “felt like magic.”
Jungkook smiled, eyes still closed, fingers playing at the back of Taehyung’s neck. “Then maybe I’ll keep kissing you till the whole world disappears.”
Taehyung chuckled softly and pressed a light kiss to his nose. “Let it disappear… as long as I have you.”
Jungkook smiled, and Taehyung pulled him closer by the waist, making their naked bodies touch. Jungkook hissed softly, causing Taehyung to immediately become concerned.
"Are you okay? Am I too rough last night? Did it hurt?" Taehyung asked, his voice full of worry.
Jungkook chuckled, placing his hand on Taehyung’s cheek. “Don’t worry, hubby. I’m fine. I’m just sore. It’ll be alright soon.”
Taehyung looked at Jungkook with a worried expression. “Really?”
Jungkook smiled and nodded. He placed his hand on Taehyung’s shoulder and was about to hug him, but stopped when Taehyung groaned softly.
“What happened, hyungie?” Jungkook asked, concerned.
Taehyung kissed Jungkook’s forehead and replied, “Nothing, my baby. It’s just too early. Let’s sleep for a little while.”
