Taekook were on their way to Tae’s office. Kook had asked if he could come along, and of course, Tae said yes. Now they were in the car—Tae behind the wheel and Kook in the passenger seat.

“Whatever happens today, we’ll face it together,” Kook said, glancing at Tae with a soft smile. Tae smiled back. “Okay, my little moon. You’re too cute, you know that?”making kook smile.

They soon reached the office and made their way to Tae’s cabin. Jimin was already there, waiting with a bit of tension on his face. Tae let out a small sigh. Jimin noticed Kook and smiled.

“Hey, Kook,” Jimin greeted warmly. “Hey, hyungie,” Kook replied, plopping into the seat across from Tae and next to Jimin.

Jimin turned to Tae. “The financial department manager wants to have a word with you.”

Tae glanced at his watch. “We’ve got a meeting in 15 minutes. I’ll talk to him after that.” Jimin nodded, and the two of them started going through the meeting files.

Kook sat quietly, observing both of them. He glanced from Jimin to Tae, then back to Tae with a small sigh.
‘No matter what’s coming, I’m right here with you, hyungie… always,’ he thought, his gaze soft and full of love.

Soon, it was time for the meeting. Tae, Kook, and Jimin entered the conference room where the England clients were already sitting. Tae walked in calmly and sat in the middle while Kook quietly took the seat beside Jimin.

“Good morning,” Tae greeted politely.

The clients nodded. One of them, Mr. Thompson, looked serious. “Let’s get straight to the point. We heard about the huge losses your company faced. It’s making us question the stability.”

Tae nodded. “Yes, we understand your concern. But we’re already working on it. Our financial team is checking everything. And we’re prepared to be transparent.”

Jimin nodded, “Yes. As of now, we don’t have full details, but we will figure it out soon. and we will make sure to overcome those ”

The clients looked unsure. There was silence in the room for a moment. Suddenly, Kook leaned forward a bit, looking at the clients.

“Excuse me... Can I say something?” he asked softly. Tae looked at him surprised and jimin also stunned.

Kook looked straight at Mr. Thompson and said, “Before coming here, I talked to the financial department manager. I just wanted to help hyung... and he told me there were no actual losses. It was maybe a glitch in the system. They didn’t find anything gone. Just numbers shifting weirdly.”

Jimin turned, “Wait… really?” tae also shocked at the information.

Kook nodded, “Yeah. They’re still checking, but as of now, he said it’s not real loss. Maybe system error.”

“I know I don’t work here,” he continued, “but I live with Tae. And I know how hard he worked on this project. I saw him stay up for days preparing everything. He didn’t even sleep well. Please trust him. He gives his everything.”

The room went quiet for a second.

The lady client smiled. “You’re not from the company, but your words are more honest than anyone.”

Mr. Thompson looked at Tae. “We respect dedication. And your partner's words show how serious you are. Let’s trust this project and go forward.”

Jimin’s eyes widened. “So, the deal is on?” Mr. Thompson nodded. “Yes. We’ll sign.

As the clients left after some small talks and handshakes, the three of them sighed in relief.

After that Tae turned to Kook and whispered, “You seriously talked to the manager?”
