Chapter 51

The next night, Taekook sat on the balcony together. Tae was back hugging Kook, resting his chin on Kook’s shoulder as they both relaxed in each other's warmth, watching the quiet night sky.

"Hyungie..." Kook called softly, his voice almost like a hum.

"Yes, my little moon," Tae replied, kissing Kook’s head gently and tightening his arms a little. "I... I wan... wan..." Kook mumbled, playing with Tae’s fingers shyly, his cheeks puffing up in hesitation.

Tae sighed softly and whispered, “Aish, my bunny, always mumbling. Whatever you want to ask, just ask, baby. I’m right here.”

Kook leaned back into him and said in a small voice, “Can we go for lunch tomorrow? Pleaseeeee”

Tae smiled instantly and nodded, “Definitely my vampire boy. I’ll pick you up from your office, and then we’ll go wherever you want.”

But Kook turned slightly and pouted, “Nooo... I’ll come to your office instead. You’ve been busy lately with so much work. I don’t want to disturb your schedule. I’ll just come there and then we’ll go.”

Taehyung stared at him for a second before chuckling softly, “Aigoo~ my baby’s planning our date now? Since when did you become this responsible, huh?”

Kook blushed, trying to hide his face in Tae’s arms. “Hyungieeee~ don’t tease meee,” he whined softly, making Tae laugh louder.

“But it’s so cute when you get all pouty like this,” Tae said with a teasing grin. “You’re literally my little moon, acting all sweet and shy.”

Kook playfully hit Tae’s arm and mumbled, “Stop iiiit…”

Taehyung giggled and kissed his cheek lovingly. “It’s gonna be the best day, huh?” he whispered. Kook nodded slowly, smiling. “I hope so…” he said softly, his voice almost like a wish.

Tae squeezed him tighter and whispered near his ear, “It will be, baby. You asked me out,How can it not be the best day ever?”

Kook giggled again and whispered back, “Then I’m gonna wear my cutest clothes just for you.” Tae grinned, “And I’ll be waiting with the biggest smile just for you, my little prince.”

The next day:-

In the morning they both left for their offices after a soft goodbye kiss. Tae reached his office and started working right away. He was rushing through all the meetings, trying to finish everything before lunch.

He didn’t want anything to disturb their little date. He was serious the whole time, but every now and then he would look at his phone and smile seeing Kook's cute texts.

“Just a little more baby… I’ll be all yours,” he mumbled to himself and continued working, his heart already looking forward to seeing his little moon.

Meanwhile, Kook was sitting on the couch in Jin’s office, arms crossed and a pout on his lips. “Hyungie… be honest. Do I look good?” he asked, staring at Jin with big doe eyes.

Jin looked up from his desk and chuckled, “Yes, bunny. You look perfect.” Kook huffed. “No, I mean really cute. I want to be really cute today. I’m taking Tae on a date.”

Yoongi, who was sitting nearby, smirked and leaned back. “You already look like a walking cotton candy, what more do you want?”

Kook turned to him with a little glare. “Hyunggg~ I’m serious!” Yoongi laughed and said, “Okay okay, I’m serious too. You’re adorable. Tae’s gonna melt.”

“Ughhh…” Kook sighed and dropped his head back. “I just want him to look at me and go all heart eyes.”

Jin smiled warmly, “Trust me, he already does that even when you’re in pajamas.” Kook giggled and nodded. “Okay… I’m gonna leave in one hour, just need to finish the files you gave.”
