After the little fight, everyone finally settled down. That’s when Kook’s phone started ringing. He answered it, listening for a moment, then looked over at Tae with a small frown.
“Hyungie… I think there’s a problem at the company,” he said carefully. “I have to go. Is that okay?”
Tae smiled softly. “It’s okay, little muffin. Just go handle it.” Kook pouted, crossing his arms. “But what about our date? You promised…”
Tae chuckled, shaking his head. “We’ll go tomorrow, I swear. I’ll make sure nothing gets in the way. Don’t worry.” Kook’s eyes brightened a little. “Really?”
“Really,” Tae nodded. “Fine,” Kook sighed dramatically, then leaned in to kiss Tae’s cheek. “I’ll go get ready.”
Tae watched him stand up and disappear upstairs, then turned back to Mrs. Jeon and Yuna, who were both watching with amused faces.
“So,” Tae cleared his throat, trying to act normal, “where were we?”
And while everyone settled into their own little conversations and started their tasks, let me take a moment to explain exactly what’s going on here.
So, here’s how it all began.
------------------
Mr. Kim and Mr. Jeon weren’t just business partners , they were childhood best friends. Though life and work took them to different paths and countries, destiny had its own plan. Years later, they unexpectedly met again at a business conference abroad. And just like old times, they picked up right where they left off laughing, talking, and sharing stories over dinner.
And that’s when Mr. Jeon invited the Kim family over for a dinner at their place. That dinner night changed everything.
It wasn’t loud or dramatic ,it was just one soft gaze across the room. Taehyung and Jungkook’s eyes met, and in that moment, it felt like time paused. They kept stealing glances the whole night, hearts racing, smiles trying to hide themselves. Yuna, being the observant one, caught on quickly and didn’t waste a second teasing them about it.
From there, things moved naturally.
They exchanged numbers, under the excuse of "talking about family business" but we all know what they really wanted. One text turned into long conversations, casual calls turned into nightly chats, and soon, they started meeting secretly ,cafés, bookstores, quiet streets where no one would notice.
They fell hard and quietly.
And then, during Mrs. Jeon’s birthday party, Yuna, being her dramatic self, brought up the idea. She looked at both fathers and casually asked, “What if we become family for real? Like… Tae and Kook getting married?”
The room went silent for a moment.
Mr. Kim and Mr. Jeon looked at each other, thoughtful. And then, almost at the same time, they both turned to the boys and asked, “What do you think?”
What no one knew was Tae and Kook were already dating by then.
So when they looked at each other, hands nervously brushing under the table, and shyly nodded, it wasn’t just agreement… it was relief. Happiness. They didn’t have to hide anymore.
And just like that, everything felt right.
They got married a few months later. It was beautiful not just because of the decorations or the venue, but because they were truly in love. The marriage wasn’t just arranged by family it was arranged by fate long before anyone knew.
After their marriage, everything felt so perfect, like it was all planned by destiny just for them. But honestly, if you really think about it, their story had already started much earlier.
