Taehyung came back from the office at 8 p.m. and saw everyone chatting in the living room. Jimin noticed him and walked over to hug him. As Jimin hugged him, Taehyung let out a small hiss, though Jimin didn’t notice.
“Hey soulmate,” Jimin greeted cheerfully. “What are you guys doing?” Taehyung asked, settling onto the couch.
“We’re staying here tonight,” Jimin explained. “Jin hyung asked Yoongi to stay, and I decided to stay too. I also asked Hobi to keep me company… but I don’t really know why Yuna’s here,” he added, whispering the last part.
Taehyung chuckled and said, “I’ll be back after freshening up,” before heading to his room. Without saying a word, Jungkook quietly followed him.
As they entered the room, Taehyung quietly closed the door behind them. The moment it clicked shut, he turned and gently pulled Jungkook into a warm hug. Jungkook immediately wrapped his arms around Taehyung’s waist, resting his head against his chest.
Without saying a word, Taehyung kissed Jungkook’s forehead softly, letting his lips linger for a moment. “I missed you today, little moon,” he whispered.
Jungkook looked up with a small smile, his eyes filled with warmth. “Me too, Hyungie. A lot.”
Taehyung brushed a strand of hair from Jungkook’s face, still holding him close, like he didn’t want to let go. The room stayed quiet, filled with the warmth between them. Soon, Jungkook broke the silence by softly saying, “Remove your shirt.”
Taehyung blinked in surprise, his brows slightly raised. “Why?” he asked softly, his voice filled with hesitation.
"Remove it, Hyungie… now," Jungkook said firmly.
Taehyung hesitated for a moment but slowly lifted his shirt and removed it,making kook's eyes widened in shock.
"Hyungie..." he whispered softly, his eyes filling with tears.
Taehyung immediately pulled him into a comforting hug. "Calm down, little moon," he said gently, stroking his back.
"Did I… did I do that? I’m sorry, Hyungie. I didn’t know…" Jungkook started blabbering, his voice shaky with guilt.
Taehyung hugged him tighter and whispered, “It’s okay. Calm down, my little moon. Please don’t cry.”
“I’m sorry, Hyungie. I didn’t mean to bite you,” Jungkook said through tears. What he saw was a bruise on Taehyung’s shoulder—the spot where he had bitten him the night before.
There were a few nail scratches on Taehyung’s body too, but those were fine. It was the shoulder bite that was swollen and bruised.
