Ryder was smiling down at her. They were standing in the middle of the clearing at South Downs."Turn around," he said grinning. "Close your eyes too, I know you're a Prevert!"
"I think you mean a 'pervert'," she said turning around and closing her eyes tight.
"No... No peaking," he said again as he backed away from her.
She stood there patiently, her eyes shut tightly as the warm wind passed through the trees. She heard rustling behind her and what sounded like clothes dropping to the ground. She was waiting for Ryder to tell her to turn around, the suspense was getting to her as the minutes passed.
Unable to wait much longer she turned around, but there was nothing and no one there. She felt a nudge at her back, spinning around again to come face to face with a huge white wolf. At first she recoiled in horror, it was almost a replica of the same wolf that had been haunting her dreams, but it's eyes were grey instead of blood red. "Ryder?" She asked taking a step forward.
It's grey eyes stared at her, in a way that said 'Yes, it's me.' His fur was the purest and brightest white, he was at least nine feet in length and six feet tall standing on all fours.
"Wow," she breathed. It was the most beautiful creature she had ever seen, she had never seen a werewolf look so- regal and enchanted. The way he stood even in wolf form was proper, his presence had a very authority like feeling to it. The large wolf pushed its muzzle against her stomach, though she knew he hadn't meant to use such force, he had knocked her down to the ground.
"Nicely done, snowball." She said with a laugh, the wolf didn't make a sound he just step forward now hovering over her body. It's large head looking down at her, though she thought that she should feel afraid, not a single part of her did.
"Do you understand me when you're like this?" She asked curiously and could have sworn he rolled his large grey eyes. "Of course you can."
She supported herself on her elbows, examining the huge creature. "Is this what you wanted to show me?"
He nodded and without any hesitation licked her face, his tongue felt rough and gritty like sand paper. "UGHHHH!" She cried wiping her face.
She could have sworn she heard a chuckle come from him, "I guess you've kissed me in both forms now." Amethyst stared up into the big grey eyes, "Snowball."
He growled at her, disapproving of her choice in nicknames. Amethyst smiled up at the huge wolf, "Oh, that really hit a nerve, Hmm?"
The large wolf backed up, she followed by standing up and dusting off her pajamas. "Come on now, Snowball, don't be a sour wolf!" She said doing a terrible imitation of his accent. Though Ryder couldn't speak in wolf form it was as if his eyes said everything and they were highly amused by her imitation of him.
"Come on then, show me what cool purebred werewolves can do," she said with a smirk and a hand on her hip. Ryder howled, it echoed through the clearing just like her dreams though it wasn't horrifying it was amazing. Ryder took a run for her, his large head picked her up and threw her on his back, he didn't waste time on running into the forest. Amethyst held on to his fur lightly, wondering if she was hurting him and then realizing he probably had withstood worst.
Once she had adjusted herself on him properly he quickened his pace, flying through the woods effortlessly. It was amazing, she was positive that not even horses could run this fast or smoothly. They came to a halt at the edge of the woods where they met water, her favorite part. She had been coming to this cliff and staring down at the water, never being able to make it down.
