Yura's heart was about to jump out of her chest as she stared at her father. It hammered heavily against her rip cage and she was sure the man in front of her could hear it beat so quickly. She might have a heartattack, panic attack, whatever you call it but Yura was definitely about to pass out from fear and panic.

"Hi." that's the only thing she could get out. Her voice was small and quivered. She didn't know how much he heard or what he would do now.

Her father sighed, taking his hand away from her phone and looking at it "I wish I had been deaf the last five minutes of my life." it could've been funny and Yura maybe would've smiled or chuckled at his words if it wasn't for the reason he said it.

She hesitated before speaking, taking a deep breath before she asked "What... Did you hear?"

"Should I spare you and say 'not much'," he shrugged "or shall I say 'everything' and punish you for how disgusting you are."

Yura gulped. She shakingly stood up from her desk and in front of her father "Dad let me explain, I-"

She was cut off by a strong slap across her cheek, her head whipped to the side from the force and when the pain sunk in, Yura exhaled shakingly.

Only now did the girl see that he had closed her door after coming in. No one would see them. Not that anyone was home except for Niki.
Yura slowly looked up, not bothering to brush her hair out of her face. She avoided eye contact with the man in front of her, not wanting to upset him more and make him more mad.

The girl already guessed what would come at her. A beating. But this time, she was actually scared. She hasn't been scared of her father beating her since she was twelve, but now she was. Because Niki was involved.
She wouldn't get beaten for picking a fight or protecting someone else. He'd do it because he was disgusted with her.

For the first time after eleven years of pointless beating, she wanted to scream. Scream for help. For Niki. But she couldn't involve him further than he already is. If her father sees him, Yura feared that he would lay a hand on Niki as well. She couldn't live with that.

"I would have never expected this from you. Teen pregnancy, jail, dropping out of school, but not this. You are disgusting, Yura. I didn't raise you to be a slut and fuck around with your brother."

"He's not my brother." That was one of the things that angered her the most from what he said.

"His mother and I are married. What do you think does it make you two?" The man scoffed.

"We're not related, he's not my blood. Would it be wrong to say that I have feelings for him?" Tears welled in her eyes. She could imagine how it looked like to her father, but he should at least hear her out and let her explain her feelings.

A sudden harsh grip on her scalp made Yura wince. Her father grabbed her by her hair, pulling her head in any direction he wanted until her eyes finally met his "Do you know how sick this is? You're filthy, girl!" he threw her to the floor.

"Please," Yura cried "Just let me explain- I love-"

The girl yelped when a heavy foot crashed against her side and cried more. Her father grabbed her again and pulled her up, holding her by her arms so that she was facing him "Don't say it. I don't want to hear those words ever leave your lips, do you hear me?"

Yura nodded wordlessly, her face twisted as she cried. She felt the grip on her arms tighten on both sides.

"You listen to me now," he pointed a stern finger in front of her face "I don't want you near Niki ever again. You'll stay at least a metre away from him at all times!"

Yura had no idea that she had been shaking her head since the middle of his speak and when her father finished talking, he grabbed her chin to stop her from shaking her head.
"No." The girl cried.

His grip on her chin began to hurt and she saw him clench his jaw "What was that?"

"You can't do that." She shut her eyes, her tears falling freely down her cheeks.

His hand suddenly left her chin but were replaced by a strong punch in her face. The hold he still had on her arm with his other hand was the only thing keeping her standing after the hit.

"If you don't stop this little 'game' or whatever it is, I'll personally send him away, abroad where you'll never see him again!" He gritted out.

Yura's breath hitched. She knew he'd pull through with that and she couldn't let that happen. This would hurt her just as much as it would hurt him, but she can't let him get send away.

The girl cried silently, not able to respond to him. It made the man even more furious and he turned her small body around her smashed her face first against the shelf near her desk.
Yura cried out as pain shot through the middle of her face and she saw black dots coating her vision.
She books on the shelf had been shaken from the impact and one even fell down to the floor, but the older man didn't care. He was blinded by rage. Disgust.

"Answer me. Do you wish for him to be send away? Or can you live without fucking your brother!" he screamed the last bit, showing more and more that he was furious about it "A cunt, a disgusting little thing of flith you are." He spoke with distaste. It was like they were strangers. It felt like Yura wasn't his daughter anymore and he didn't feel like her father. He treated her with such hatred before.
Being beaten or getting bad comments about her appearance were always just heat in the moment things, but this felt like it would take a while to calm down.

"Please don't send him away.." Yura cried quietly, not having the strength to even speak normally.

"Then you know what I'm expecting from you." he let go of her harshly and the girl heard how his steps retreated. The door opened and he left, closing it behind him again.

Yura slid down against the shelf, crying and holding her hand on her mouth to stiffle the noises.
She tasted blood and felt a sticky substance against her fingers. She was bleeding somewhere in her face, probably from when her father slammed her into the shelf, but she couldn't care less about that at the moment.

Two days. Yura and Niki had been together for two days. They were happy and in love and now it was all ruined.
The girl wondered what would be worse, Niki being send away and never seeing him again or seeing him every day after breaking each other's heart.
Both options were tearing her apart but she knew that Niki couldn't go abroad. This was his home, here was his mother. He could never in a million life times leave her.

Yura cried herself to sleep that evening, staying sat against that hard and uncomfortable shelf that had been coated with her blood.
It already broke her to even think about what she had to do now.

AN: ahh I'm nervous, but don't worry! Let's see how things will turn out soon!I can't wait to write the scene when Niki finally realizes what's going on with Yura's dad hehe
