A strong punch to her arm woke Yura from her nap. "Ow!!" She jumped awake, holding her arm as she looked at the source with a frown.
Niki.
"That's our stop." Niki said in his usual monotone voice that he only directed at her.
Yura looked around for a second, noticing that they were sat in a bus and she didn't even notice when they got on. It was already dark outside and only a few people were with them on the bus.
"Hop on, you moron." Niki said and was crouched in front of her with his back facing her, just like the first time he wanted to carry her but Yura had declined that.
This time she didn't object and slowly moved towards him, wincing in pain but it was already a bit less than before. Niki held her from under her thighs and after he felt Yura wrapping her arms around his neck, he stood up.
"Ow." He heard her directly next to his ear after he adjusted her in uis grasp.
"Shut it." Niki said and got off the bus with her.
Only a two streets away and they would be at home. Niki was getting tired, not because he was carrying his step sister but because he was carrying his step sister. He was annoyed that she couldn't walk on her own and just wanted to go to his room and get her out of his sight.
When they finally arrived home, they didn't see any lights on and guessed that their parents went to bed. Niki had texted his mother that they both had detention so he thought that maybe the adults thought they were kept there until evening. Which was partly true because they were there for a long time.
Niki adjusted the girl on his back for a second before using one of his hands to pull his key out while he held Yura with only one now.
"If you let me fall now, I will smash your head into the wall." Yura threatened, scared that Niki would lose his grip on her thigh.
"Shut up. You're lighter than you look so I won't let you go." Niki told her bored "Tho I think it wouldn't be a bad idea."
Yura slapped his head slightly but as revenge Niki moved her around, causing pain to enforce in her back.
"Ouch! Fucker." Yura complained with a glare that Niki couldn't see.
"Be quiet." Niki said as they walked in and he closed the door.
The boy turned the lights on and made his way upstairs and towards Yura's room, still carrying said girl on his back. He opened her room door and walked in before turning so his back was facing her bed and letting go of the girl's thighs.
Yura fell backwards on her bed and the impact made her wince.
Niki wordlessly left her room and went into his own as he collapsed with a tired sigh on his bed and in mere minutes he was asleep.
