The Concert

The opening acts seem like they are going to perform forever. Sure, I love Rozzi and Magic!, but I can't wait to see the boys in concert.

After what seems like an eternity, the lights dim and the boys come out onto the stage. So many other girls are screaming that I can't even hear my own screams.

They open up with 'Maps'. Jess and I sing our hearts out.

This is the best night of my life.

Adam says some goofy things in between songs which makes us all laugh.

He's adorable I think to myself. How I wish he was mine.

During 'Daylight', he starts walking down the runway and glances into the crowd. Our eyes instantly lock, and he stops in his tracks.

My heart starts pounding out of my chest, and I take out my phone so I can take pictures of him. He sings directly to me for the rest of the song. I can feel the envious stares from girls around me, but I don't care one bit.

During the encore, they play 'She Will Be Loved'. Instead of going to the end of the runway like usual, Adam stops right in front of me and Jess and starts singing. This is a dream come true.

As I am gazing into his beautiful eyes and fantasizing about him, he suddenly puts out his hand.

"Come up here," he says into the microphone.

I am shocked. There's no way he said that to me. He had to be talking to someone else. I blush and look around. Jess rolls her eyes and pushes me forward. Adam helps me up, his touch causing goose bumps to rise on my body.

He puts his hand on my hip and sings the rest of the song to me. At one point, he looks me up and down, and my eyes go wide. I cannot wait to tell my friends about this.

As the song ends, he looks deep into my eyes and kisses my forehead. He helps me back down off of the stage. I could feel my heart beating a million times a minute. Jess looks at me jealously, but it's hard to feel sorry for her.

"I'll hook you up with blonde Jesus," I joke. "Aw, darn. Jesse's cuter," she pretends to mope. "You can have them both. Make it a three way," I say, winking. Jess giggles.

As the concert winds down, Adam walks down the walkway one last time. As he is about to leave, he quickly turns and blows me a kiss.

I feel incredibly happy, yet incredibly sad at the same time. I'll probably never see him again, but boy did I have a story to tell everyone.

As we are leaving, I can still see people staring enviously at me, and I'm pretty surprised that none of the crazy fans have tried to kill me yet. It makes me feel good that Adam noticed me out of all of these people.

"I'm hungry," says Jess. My stomach growls in agreement, so we decide to go to a fancy Italian place about a block away. As we enter, I hear someone yell, "Hey, Adam! There she is!"
