ARIA POV

We decide to walk so we can spend more time together.

As we leave the house, Adam grabs my hand and I smile. We begin to walk down the street.

"Where do you go to college?" he asks.

"UCSF" I reply.

"Interesting. What do you major in?" he begins to swing our hands back and forth.

"Literature, and I minor in digital art," I reply, stifling a giggle as I watch our arms swing.

"What a nerd," he jokes.

I laugh, not knowing what to say.

"You know...I live pretty close to UCla. You could always transfer," he says.

"I don't think I could do that," I say.

"Why not?" he asks.

"I'd leave Jess and I have so much work to do and-"

"Let's bring Jess, then," he cuts me off.

"What?" I ask, astonished.

"Jesse obviously has a thing for her. He needs a girl anyway. I can contact the school. My mom is friends with the chancellor," he rushes.

"I don't know..." I trail off.

I desperately want to be near him, but I couldn't imagine leaving San Francisco.

"The housing there costs way too much," I say.

"You could just live with me," he says quietly.

I look at him, confused. He just met me last night.

"I mean...obviously only for economic purposes," he says with an emphasis on the sarcasm.

"Yeah, suuurrree," I say, rolling my eyes.

We end up at a diner, and we sit in a booth.

We get menus and we both order Pepsi.

"You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." he says out of nowhere.

"You need to start looking at more girls, then," I say.

"From now on, I only need to look at one," he says, touching my hand.

I blush, and pinch myself with my free hand to make sure I'm not dreaming. We both order cheeseburgers and fries.

"Who are your favorite bands?" he asks.

"Uh, obviously Maroon 5. And I like some old stuff like the Beatles," I say.

His eyes light up and a smile flashes across his face.

"They're my favorite band!" he exclaims.

I don't know why, but I never really thought musicians really listened to music.

As we waited for our food, we talked about his life.

"You mean james really got locked in the girls changing room in college?" I ask, laughing.

"Well, I may have pushed him in and held the door shut," he says with a playful smile.

"What did the girls do?" I ask.

"Oh, they screamed and called campus securi-"

The waitress cuts us off by bringing our food.

Adam takes a fry off my plate and eats it.

"Hey!" I exclaim and slap his hand. "You have your own fries, weirdo," I giggle.

I love how playful Adam is. It's adorable.

After we finish eating, we walk back home, talking about everything we can think of. He stops at the door and holds me in his arms.

"I'll be here to pick up up at 7 in the morning," he says.

"Okay. I'll be ready," I reply.

"Tell Jess to come along, and maybe we can see about that transfer?" he says hopefully.

"Maybe," I say, biting my lower lip.

He leans in and I kiss him.

I grab his ass in one hand and his hair in the other and I don't allow him to pull away until we have been kissing for at least 5 minutes.

He pulls away to catch his breath.

"Fuck, you're hot," he pants.

I giggle and say goodbye. I turn around to go inside.
