Bella P.O.V
The following days Papa didn't aloud me out of the house. I spent most of my time with Nana either cooking or talking. Jacob come any other day to pay a visit, thankfully he never brings up the subject about the marriage. Edward clearly doesn't like that. He would glare at Jacob while he was here. Edward was almost never here, he's always at work with Papa and Emmett but when he is we talk most of the time. At night after everyone has fallen asleep he would sneak in my room and spend hours with me, laying in bed, holding me and catching up.
I love when he's here, it's like nothing else matters. I've fallen all over for him. When we're together he always says the same things over and over again. That he will never leave me, that I'm everything for him, that he loves me. It would be annoying but because we spent so much time away from each other it didn't bother me.
The next morning after breakfast Edward asked me if I wanted to take a walk around town. Papa wasn't there for breakfast, there was too much work, I suppose. Why isn't Edward at work? When I asked him he said there wasn't much that required his attention but his father did ask him to stay to keep an eye on things. Jacob didn't come either yesterday, or today. It's not like I care, the less time Jacob is here the more time I have with Edward.
We walked along the town early in the morning. The townspeople greeted, waved or smiled at us as we passed by. Edward seemed deep in thought as we continue to walk. We reach Mrs. Newton shop. She places red apples on the table, fixing everything while Mike sweeps the floor.
"My lady, what a lovely surprise," she smiles when we get closer to her shop. She takes a red apple and hands it to me. "They're nice and juicy."
"Thank you," I smile. "Mrs. Newton, this is Edward Cullen, he's Mr. Cullen's son."
She smiles at him. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Cullen. We purchase the fruits and vegetables for the Swan Household."
"No wonder the food tastes great," Edward smiles. "It's nice to meet you. Shall we?" He asks me.
I nod. "Have a lovely day, Mrs. Newton," I say as we walk away.
When we're at a fair distance Edward suddenly takes the apple that I was just about to bite from me. "Edward!" I laugh.
"What? I'm hungry." He shrugs putting the apple closer to his mouth. "You wouldn't mind to share, now would you?"
"That's my apple." I snatch it from his hand and run off. "Catch me if you can!" I sing, running off, picking up the dress with one hand while with the other I hold the apple.
I hear Edward behind me and I can't help but to look back to see him running behind me. I giggle, this reminds me of the many times we did this at the woods. People would stop what they're doing to look at us as we ran across the streets, laughing.
I stop at the stairs of the church. I turn to Edward and bite the apple. He take the apple from me and bites it, too. I laugh, taking the apple back and giving it one last bite before throwing it in the little trash.
"Lady Swan, Mr. Cullen, having fun?" Father Warner asks behind us.
We turn to see Father Warner standing at the door with a smile on his face. I walk up to him, kissing his cheek. "Morning, Father. You already know Edward-I mean, Mr. Cullen?"
Edward shakes his hand with a smile. "Of course. He was helping us look for you when you disappeared."
Father Warner nods. "He was pretty worried, my Lady." He eyes Edward and me for a second. "You would love to come in the kitchen? Sister Bethany made some delicious cookies."
