Bella P.O.V

It's not long before I hear them after me. They must had heard the horse. I try to go faster but it's useless, I can hear them catching up to me. My heart begins to pick up its pace and hold tighter onto the horse.

"Stop right there!" I hear a man from behind me yell.

I pull on the horse, hard and make a turn left but the horse stops and I fly off. I hit the ground hard, my head impacts the ground so hard I start hearing buzzing. The horse runs off in the other direction at full speed, leading some of them the wrong direction. Others, start heading my way.

I try to get up, stumbling over some rocks. Not far from here is a small cottage. It might be the cottage Ramona was telling me about, I hope whoever lives there can help me. I can hear the horses coming this way, so I sprint to the door, banging on it as hard as I can.

"Help me!" I yell. "Please, someone help me!" The door flies open and I fell on my knees inside the cottage. A strong hand grabs my arm and drags me inside, shutting the door behind me.

The man throws me on the floor and point a dagger to my face. He's incredibly tall and fit, almost like my brother Emmett. He has light green eyes and black hair. The expression of his face is filled with hatred and regret.

"Who are you?" He spats.

I swallow. "Please, help me. They're after me and if the catch me, they'll kill me and my baby." I try to get up but he pushed me back on the floor. "Please, I can't go back to Chicago, I need to see my family."

There's a hard banging on the door. They're here. I stand up, pushing myself away from the man. Judging by the look on his face, if he could kill me, he would.

"Please, I'm begging you. Do not let them take me," I cry. He grabs me by the arm and draws me toward him when the door is busted open and the men in black walk in. "No, no!" I scream when he places the dagger on my neck.

"Good, he caught the girl for us," the leader of the group says. "Martin, I'm glad to see you again."

"I wish I could say the same thing," the man, Martin, said. "What do you want?"

"The girl," the man said.

"I know that. What do you want with her?" Martin asked.

"She's Jacob Black's fiancée and he wishes to get her back. She ran off and that's unacceptable for our lord." He laughed. "Why don't you hand her over and get over with it. We'll deal with her?"

"Is the baby his?" Martin asked me under his breath.

"What?" I breathe.

"Is it his?!" He yelled in my ear.

"No!" I answer, closing my eyes as the blade is pressed harder against my neck. "It's not his. He took me from my home, I don't know if my family is okay, if the father..."

"The father of that bastard has already been dealt with," said the man. "Martin, hand her over and you'll receive a reward."

"I want no reward, what is Black going to do with her?" Martin hissed.

"He's going to kill my baby," I breathe, trying not to move so the dagger won't cut me. "He is going to kill him and even me."

"Shut up."

"He's going to kill me!" I cry.

"Shut up!" He throws me on the ground and attacks the men in black. "Run!" He yells as he pushes past them.

I grab one of the daggers on the floor he has and make a run for it through the back door. I ran as fast as I can through the woods, ignoring the aching of my legs or the scratches on my feet. I can't stop. I run as fast as I can until my kegs beg for a stop. I trip over a rock, falling on dirt.
