s we walked out of the room, I couldn't help but admire the angel beside me. But what caught my attention was her looking around, clinging to me, her eyebrows furrowed. Slowly, she looked at me with her long lashes. Her nath (nose ring) was just above her lips-fuck.

I couldn't understand it, but the jewelry on her was fucking cute.

She pulled at my kurta sleeves slowly, instructing me to come down. So, I slowly lowered myself to her as she whispered closer to my ears, "Yeh saab log humhe aise kyu ghur rahe hain jaise hum koi bhootni hain? Humri chehre pe kuch laga hai kya?"

(Why are all these people staring at me as if I'm some kind of ghost? Is there something on my face?)

She touched her face. "Pimple toh nahi hua hai na?"

(I don't have a pimple, right?)

I cupped her chin and looked at her angelic face. Fuck, she looks just like my Jaan. I kissed the tip of her nose, saying, "Sudhar lag rahe hain aap! Kuch nahi hua hai aapke chehre par!"

(You look perfect! Nothing is wrong with your face!)

She slowly started up, asking, "Then why are they st--"

Oh, my baby is just worried.

How can she be so innocent, so unaware of the effect she has on people?

I couldn't help but smile, even though it was more of a chuckle at the situation.

Now should I tell her?

Should I explain why they're staring at her?

But no, there's no need to burden her with that right now.

So, I just said, "Bachha, ignore them...!" I said slowly, standing up and starting to walk ahead.

And like my good little wife.

she followed beside me without hesitation.

Oh, fuck, my cute baby!

How can she be so perfect?

As we made our way toward the place where the celebration was being held, Bondita walked toward the bride, and I followed her, keeping my eyes on her.

That's when I noticed Nani Maa coming toward us. She quickly reached out and held Bondita by the arm, her eyes filled with concern. "Bahu? Tum thik toh hona?"

(Daughter-in-law? Are you okay?)

My jaw clenched.

What the hell is this now?
