The morning was fucking quiet—too quiet. The kind that settles in your bones and makes everything else fade.
Just me, her... and the aftermath of last night.
I hadn't shut my damn eyes. Not even for a fucking second.
Because last night wasn't just sex.
It was the night she gave herself to me. Fully. Trusting. Vulnerable. Mine.
And I gave myself to her too—not just my body, but everything else I never thought I'd give anyone.
Her body was curled into mine now, breathing softly. Skin against skin. Her face? Peaceful. Fuck, she looked like some fragile doll, or a lost angel who didn’t belong in this fucked-up world—definitely not in my world.
But I knew better.
I knew the silent tremors that ran through her last night, even after it was over. I saw the way she whimpered in her sleep. Small, broken sounds. Almost crying. My chest had clenched each fucking time.
Her body had been tense, bruised in places I kissed a hundred times later. I’d cleaned her up, slowly, carefully, like she’d shatter.
Now... now she was sleeping like a baby. Peaceful, unaware. And I hated how much I loved it. How I wanted to keep her like this forever.
I stayed like that for hours, just staring. Holding her tighter every time the guilt crept in.
It was nearly noon when I felt her stir.
Then that soft fucking sound— "Aahhh..." A moan, laced with pain.
Her body shifted, trying to get up on those sore legs. But I stopped her instantly, pulling her close again, one arm around her bare waist.
“Shh... shhh, little angel,” I whispered against her temple, brushing my lips over her damp hair. “I’m right here. Don’t move. Just sleep.”
And that’s when it happened.
Those honey-brown eyes opened—slow, dazed, still heavy from the night. They looked into mine like she was searching for something... maybe reassurance, maybe love. Maybe me.
Fuck. She had me.
She stared at me.
For a long second—maybe longer—just fucking stared, like she wasn’t sure if this was real or some leftover dream from the night before.
