Janet's rage

Max got out of the pool to lay down and get a tan, even thought his skin tone is perfect. I honestly can not believe I like Max. Janet is going to kill me. I hate the thought of me just getting a new boyfriend right after I dumped James for cheating on me. I still miss him, but it's not like he will not do it again. I think I made the right choice. I decided I needed to work on my tan too. right now I'm as pale as a ghost. I got out of the pool and lied down next to to Max on my back. Max was on his stomach and I closed my eyes as the sun hit my face. I remember what it was like when James and I would go to his house and get in the hot tub. We would lean up against the hot tub and then he would hold me in his arms and kiss my forehead. Now I just don't even want to remember it.

Max: "Hey Kate can I ask you a question?"

Kate:"Yeah, what's up?"

Max: "Well I saw you staring at me earlier and also the first time we met and I was wondering do you like me?"

I didn't want to lie about it and I hate it when people play hard to get so when it comes to a hot boy asking me those question I am just straight up truthful with them.

Kate: "Yeah, why?"

Dang it Janet is going to murder me. Again. Thank God she is in the kitchen getting a soda.

Max: "Because I like you too."

Kate: "I kinda noticed but thank you."

Max: "You wanna be my girlfriend? I'm sorry if it's to soon. What is wrong with me you just broke up with your boyfriend and I am already hitting on you."

Kate: "No, no, no, your fine. I would love to be your girlfriend."

Max: "Yes!!!! I mean that's cool if you wanna be my girlfriend I guess."

Max and I continue laying down on the ground next to the pool and after about an hour we get back in and I notice I got a super great tan and some vitamin D.

We get back in the pool and it was freezing cold since I was in the sun for an hour. Janet gets out of the water and walks to the diving board I know what she is going to do. She is going to dive in to impress Max. I should tell her he is my boyfriend. I get out and run to her.

Me: "Janet I need to tell you something."

Janet: "Can't you see I'm busy trying to impress Max here."

Me: "Janet, Max and I are together now. "

After she heard me say that last word she dove in but the wrong way. her arms were every where her legs too. and she dove in head first and sort of bent her back awkwardly.

She didn't come up for about 10 seconds and then Max swam over to where she landed and picked her up out of the water. He had her in his strong arms bringing her out of the water and set her down flat on the ground gently. He checked to see her pulse to see if she was still alive, but she was unconscious. He started giving her C.P.R. First he started with the compressions and then he did the mouth to mouth. For some reason I feel like I am being cheated on all over again, but I know he is just doing mouth to mouth to save her life. I feel awful. All of this was caused by me. Why couldn't I just leave Max alone and not get in the way. Janet started waking up and when she opened her eyes she looked at me and started screaming.

Janet: "What is wrong with you!? How could you do this to me!? You knew that I liked him first!"

I guess it's good Max doesn't know what we are talking about otherwise she would have been humiliated.

Me: "I'm sorry. Please forgive me."

Janet: "I hate you."

Max: "Both of you calm down. Janet does any part of you hurt?"

Janet looked at me then him and made a little pity face to seem hurt. I guess she was doing it for him to feel sorry for her and make herself be more attractive.

Janet: "Well my neck and back hurts."

Max: "I'll go get and ice pack Cameron carry her over to and put her down gently on the lounge chair."

Max went inside to get a ice pack and Cameron picked Janet up and when he did all his muscles flexed. He put her down on the lounge chair and then I walked over to go talk to her about our uh.... situation.
