Graduation. I can't believe it. My graduation day has finally come. I'm excited and sad at the same time. I'm happy that I can finally get out of this dump and go to my dream college.

My motorcycle is still in the garage waiting for me to use it. I usually ride it everyday but it's been two days since I have used it.

Dad: "Kate! Are you ready to go?"

Me: "Yeah."

I grabbed my bag that had my cap and gown in it and walked downstairs.

Mark: "Come on let's go. "

Me: "Gosh, bossy much."

Mark: "Yes. Now let's go."

We all pilled into the minivan at once and buckled up our seat belts. It was a 15 minute drive to the school where I would receive my diploma.

I saw my friends all crowded by the fountain. They were wearing their caps and gowns.

Janet: "She's here!"

Me: "Don't fear, the party is here."

Max: "You look good."

Me: "I'm wearing the same thing as you."

Max: "Still, you look good in everything."

Annika signing: "I can't believe we are all graduating today."

Me: "We've come a long way."

Mrs. K came up to us and told us it was time to take our places. We all filled the chairs that were set up for us.

Principal Marie: "Welcome parents, teacher, and students. Today we will witness the class of 2015 graduate. Let us begin."

She called all of our names one at a time. Finally it was my turn. I had butterflies in my stomach. I kept thinking I was going to trip and fall on the stairs on my way up the stage, but I didn't. I made it up and received my diploma. It was the most frightening moment in my life. I was so happy.

After all the diplomas were handed out Principal Marie spoke again.

Principal Marie: "Congratulations all of you. It pains me to see all of you go after such a wonderful year. Please move your tassels to the left side of your cap."

We all moved them at once. Like we were drones under principal Marie's control.

Principal Marie: "I know present the graduating class of 2015."

We all threw our caps up in the air and then caught them when they came down. Max turned to me. Pale as a ghost, like he was scare of something. He grabbed my face then kissed me. His lips were soft like always. I loved him. He released me.

Max: "Kate, your are the sweetest, most beautiful, and smart girl I have ever met. I'm glad I met you. I fell in love with you at first sight. But I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore."

My heart broke into multiple pieces. I felt like I was caring 1,000 tons on my chest. I was about to cry, but I knew I couldn't. I can't let anyone see me cry. That's something that I live by. Don't let people see that you're weak.

Max: "I'm sorry, I just can't do it anymore. I just don't want to be your boyfriend. I want to be your husband. Kate, I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?"

Max reached inside his gown, got on one knee, and opened up a black box to reveal a diamond ring. My spirits suddenly were lifted and I felt like the happiest girl in the world.

Me: "Y-yes. Yes, yes, yes. I love you."

Max placed the ring on my finger then got off his knees. He twirled me around in the air. He brought me back down then kissed me.

Me: "Kate?"

Me: "Yes?"

Max: "You're beautiful."

Me: "You are my heart."

I suddenly burst out in tears. I tried to conceal them but everyone had already stopped to stare at us when Max had bent down on one knee. The witnessed the happiest thing in my life.
