Her mouth opened slightly as his tongue touched hers. The hand on his chin moved to his jaw and was now grazing it with her fingers as her mind was in a whole different world.
Draco acted on impulse, he had not planned that. He just came in to take care of the cuts and ended up kissing her. But he wouldn't change a single thing about it. Not when her lips move on his in such a passionate manner.
Their position was not comfortable, but he didn't mind. Neither did she as his head leaned a little to deepen the kiss further. Eyes closed, noses brushing, lips touching and tongues dancing. She never wanted it to end.
But it did, at some point they had to breathe. So when the dreaded moment arrived, with their chest heaving, they looked at each other again.
One drunk kiss was brushed off, but two. And sober now. Doubts clouded her mind, making her look down as her brain ran. Things had not changed, they would have to go back to being friends again. How long till we do it again? She pushed the intrusive thought away. Her reason accepting of the situation but her mind not allowing her to speak.
Draco reasoned this as well. What was the right thing to do? What was the right thing to say? What did he want? That was the hardest thing to answer. What to do or what to say would be easy to come up with, he was never at a loss for words and was a great improviser. But those depended on what he wanted, and that he did not know.
He acknowledged their previous decision was the most reasonable. That the less complicated thing for the both of them was to just think this never happened and go on living like normal. But he didn't want to go back, he didn't want to pretend he did not want to kiss her when he did. He did not want to keep his mouth shut when Phelps spoke too close to her. He did not want to stop, he did not want to refrain, to restrain what was coursing through his veins.
Even if it ended up making him insane. He had chosen, for the first time in his life, it was not the easiest way, not the most comfortable, not the least complicated or a planned ruse, it was what felt right. So without a second thought he pushed himself forward to catch her lips again, give him a little confidence boost before he said what he had in mind.
She responded instantly, well, her body did before her mind could wrap itself around it. Her hands were on his hair, as one of his was on her face. Her lips broadened as she leaned in further, she was enjoying it, regardless of whatever troubles there were in the world, she was in bliss as he angled her face, taking control of the kiss.
He was not forceful or rough. But he was demanding and really proactive. She was loving it, loving it as he pulled a little on her hair, her back arching a little to be closer to him. His hand found her waist, giving it a firm squeeze as his lips continued to devour her.
Draco smiled a little through the kiss, making her do so as well. Not sure what was going on but enjoying it nonetheless. This time, when they let go, they didn't turn away from each other, they stayed mere inches away from each other, grey meeting blue.
"Well I think that was long overdue" Draco added with a tad of awkwardness. She just stayed looking at him, not wanting to move. "I think we ought to talk" She just nodded.

The dormitory was quiet, save the faint voices on the floor above. Lilianne sat at the edge of her bed with her knees tucked under her body as the cut on her forehead now closed and healing, the surface damp and a tad red. Meanwhile, the boy was standing, drinking a glass of water she had in her nightstand with a hand shoved in his pocket.
"This is stupid" He referred to the fragile silence they seemed to be immersed in. She leaned her head, he was right. "Lilianne" "Malfoy, you" They spoke at the same time, locking eyes instantly. Well, at least there was no silence anymore. Draco moved his head for her to speak first.
