Two days later it's time to go home, we check out of the hotel and head to the hospital to pick up Shannon, Julie and Aiden on our way to the airport. Lucky for them Aunt Elizabeth has a spare key to their house and picked up a few things for Julie and the baby on the way to the airport. That's one of the things I love about her, she can always keep a clear head under a stressful situation. Most moms would have gone straight into panic mode packed a bag and gotten on the plane but not aunt Elizabeth, she made sure the driver stopped at the house long enough to get Julie's bag which included Aiden's first outfit, his diaper bag, and more importantly his car seat. We get to the room and find Shannon lost in his newborn, he smiles so sweetly as Aiden looks up at him with sleepy hazel eyes. His tiny little hand wrapped around Shannon's finger, I've often wondered what goes through our little Angels minds when they look up at us like that. S:"You're sleepy aren't you little cub, why are you fighting it huh, why you fighting it" Jared:"Feels good doesn't it?" S:"Best feeling in the world, I can't imagine my life without him" Me:"I think I know how that feels" S:"Thank you Nina" Me:"For what babe" S:"For Julie, for him"I put my arms around him from behind and kiss his cheek, I don't know how but somehow I knew exactly what he meant Me:"No ....thank you, for Jared, for my babies"
Julie's steps out of the the bathroom looking so beautiful, motherhood agrees with her. E:"You look beautiful sweetheart, are you ready to go home" Julie:"Absolutely mom"

2 hours later we touchdown at L.A.X the car already awaits us on the Tarmac. I'm all giddy with excited one because my babies will be in my arms soon and two the sweet surprise that awaits Shannon Julie, and the baby when we get home. Aiden was such a good boy during the flight, it's ill advice for a baby so young to travel but since our home is here we didn't have much of a choice. When we arrive at Shannon's house Jared and I are the first to step out they're so wrapped up in the baby they don't even notice us slip inside, we quickly grab the twins and head back to the door in time to see them come up the steps as soon as they reach the door the room comes alive when everyone yells "SURPRISE!!!" Julie and Shannon are in shock Tomo, Vicki, Emma, Nessa, Nikko my mom and Constance are all there to welcome them home. Julie places Aiden in Constance's arms Julie:"Wake up sleepy cub, time to meet grandma Constance" C:"Oh sweetheart......he's so beautiful" tears roll down her cheeks as Aiden looks up at her with sleepy eyes. Shannon kisses her temple and wraps his arm around her S:"So what do you think" C:"He looks just like you sweetheart" we take the twins over to see the baby, Emmy smiles and reaches out her little hand. She leans in and touches Aiden his eyes flutter open and his little head turns in her direction. She smiles big and her lips purse E:"Oooooh" Julian follows his sister's lead and leans in and touches the baby this time Aiden lets out a small coo and the twins giggle in delight.

After showing him off Julie feeds and puts Aiden down for a nap and we do the same with the twins although Emmy fights it at first whimpering in my arms Me:"I know muñeca linda, mommy and daddy are here baby girl" I kiss her head and rock her in my arms but she refuses to sleep Jared:"Here let me try" to Emmy "What's the matter pretty princess, why you fighting it little Angel" he sings to her while softly rocking her in his arms eventually she closes her little eyes falls asleep. Julie:"She missed you guys, they both did" Me:"I know, we missed them too, so much" Julie:"I never though I could love another living being this much" Me:"Me either till I held them in my arms" truth be told there was something else I didn't think was possible, Julie:"I never though I could love Shannon anymore than I did, then saw him with Aiden in his arms and my heart is so full of love for him for our baby" I look at Jared who's still holding our little girl in his arms Me:"I know exactly how you feel. I've never loved, wanted or needed anyone more than I do him, then I see him with our babies and I love him so much more" we decide to give Jared some alone time with the twins and rejoin the party downstairs, after catching up for a while we make our way home for some much needed rest and quality time with our twins.

That evening after everyone is gone Shannon and Julie take in their little miracle. S:"He's so beautiful I still can't believe we created this little soul" J:"Me either babe, I still can't believe he's here, that you're here" he takes her lips sweetly S:"Thank you for loving me, for our son" J:"There's nowhere else I'd rather be than here with you" they count 10 little fingers and ten little toes and watch their little angel as he sleeps his little mouth suckling in his sleep, a sign he'll be waking up soon too feed. Right on on queue he wakes half an hour later to feed and then a diaper change. Shannon lays him facedown on his chest and to their surprise Aiden tries to lift his head. Julie's snuggles up with her boys J:"What are you doing bug careful my sweet little cub." S:"Wow I didn't know they could do that" J:"Me either babe" soon both Julie and the baby fall asleep in his arms. He remembers a day long ago before the band became a reality and life was more chaotic and all he wanted was to be happy. Constance always encouraged her boys to dream and dream big but there where days when life was not so kind and both he and Jared stopped believing in happily ever after, if anyone ever told them that not only would their dreams come true but that they would find the love and happiness they searched for he would've said they were nuts. Now looking at the beautiful woman asleep in his arms and their precious little boy, thinking of Jared and the beautiful woman who is now his fiancé and their two beautiful little angels, he's beyond happy that he and Jared were wrong. They were both blessed beyond their wildest dreams.
