It's morning, my eyes flutter open, I reached for my love but he isn't in bed. His side of the bed is still warm and I can still smell him on the sheets, I want him again. The sweet smell of vegan pancakes reaches me......he's making breakfast for me again, I stretch and snuggle back into the blankets. His phone goes off it's Shannon, I debate wether or not to answer the phone. I might be asking for trouble I know but I figure it's just a phone call what harm can it do.

Me:"Hey Shann" he takes a deep breath into the phone S:"Hey beautiful, Sleep well?" Me:"Yeah, you" S:"Restless......you've been haunting my dreams" don't say that! Me:"Where's Stella?" S"She's gone. Where's my brother?" Me:"Down stairs making breakfast. What do you mean gone?" S:"Don't worry about it baby, I missed you" Me:"Shannon please" S:" I want you Nina, God help me but I do" has he lost his mind. Me:"Where do Stella and Jared fit into any of this, according to you?" S:"I told you she's gone, there's just you baby" What???? Me:"What are you saying..... Shannon...... I'm not leaving Jared for you, I love him" S:"I know baby, I love him too. I can see how happy you make him and I know loosing you would kill him but I want you Nina, I want you in my arms, in my bed." God please help, he's getting to me and I don't want him to, I can't! My breathe begins to hitch Me"Shannon.... please stop!!!" S:"You want me, I know you do, I'm getting to you Nina" Me:"This is insane, ok let's say we gave into this, would you be satisfied with stolen moments here and there?" S:"It would be better than not having you at all" I can't listen any more. Me:"I can't do this Shannon, I'm sorry baby I can't" I hang up the phone, after all this time he isn't over me. The phone rings, its him again, I let it go to voice mail and go back to delete the previous phone call.

I try to fall back asleep. I'm dozing off when Jared comes in with a breakfast tray J:"Morning baby girl, sleep good my love" I open my eyes and stretch, I reach for his lips "till you left" J:"Sorry Love, I made you vegan pancakes, but I burned them! Sorry baby" Me:"It's ok Love I'm sure they're still ......" He takes the lid off the pancakes, he had topped them with a dark chocolate heart "..... Oh baby you're so sweet, I love you so much" J:"I love you more, with all my heart" Me:"Make love to me Jared" J:"What about breakfast?" Me:"It can wait, I want you baby, Love me" Jared takes the tray and puts it aside and climbs back into bed with me J:"You're mine Nina, all mine" Me:"And you're mine, only mine" he pulls me close, devours my lips and we get lost in each others touch.
