I found Shannon in the D.J. Booth, he was in his own little world, lost in the music. He looked beautiful, my heart was breaking for him but I hated the way he treated Jared earlier. He caught me staring at him and his face lit up. S:"Hey Jamie can you take over for a bit? I'll be right back I promise." Jamie gave him a look J:"Don't take too long Jared's going back on soon and I want you back here before that happens" S:"I will, I promise" J:"I mean it Shannon" S:"Thanks I owe you one" J:"You bet you do" he came down from the booth S:"Hey beautiful" I loved his smile Me:"Hey you, can we talk?" He saddened a little bit S:"Sure baby, of course" we walked hand in hand he was about to turn in the employee lounge but I stopped and gave him a look Me:"You really think we're gonna get much talking done in there?" He smiled S:" Yeah good point. I'm not very good at keeping my hands off you, am I ?" Me:"Uh...no!" We both laughed at that.

We went out to the patio and sat down. He took the chair across from me I arched my eyebrow like "really" Me:"Do you have to sit so close, you're suffocating me" he thought I was being serious, poor baby Me:"I'm kidding" S:"Oh.....I though...." Me:"that's what you get for thinking" S:"You're such a tease." Me:"But you love me anyway" Shannon smiled at that. He took the chair next to me S:"Better?" Me:"Yeah" he leaned in and started trailing kisses from my check to my neck. Ah hell, I can't Me:"Shannon....Baby .......please" S:"Sorry I can't help myself around you" Me:"I've notice ....What happened earlier?" He was quiet for a bit S:"I guess I was a real ass huh?" Me:"You guess?" S:"I was, I'm sorry baby! It's just I see the way Jared looks at you and the way you respond to him and I guess I just got jealous" this time I fell silent.... He was right. Me:"I'm sorry...... There's more to it, isn't there?" S:"No baby of course not" he lied! S:"Are we still on for tomorrow? Or would you rather cancel" he looked disappointed, was he playing me? Don't know! One thing was certain, he knew how to get his way.

Me:"No, Tomorrow's fine Baby. What time should we meet?" S:"How about 11:00?" Me:"That sounds good......I think I'm going to call it a night" S:"Please don't, not yet" he caressed my cheek and kissed my temple. God these two knew how to pull my heart strings. Unfortunately for both of them I was done being their ping pong ball for the night. Me:"I think I've had enough excitement for one night! S:"Please, for me" He kissed my lips, I can't do this, I pulled away Me:"Baby I have to go" he went for my lips again S:"Stay" he pulled me close and and kissed my neck, his lips made their way to my shoulder and I straddled him. He devoured my lips S:"I want you Nina" it wasn't his voice I heard it was Jared's Me:"I can't Shannon" I try to get up he holds me in place S:"Please??? He doesn't have to know, let me have you just for tonight" What did he just say? I can't be right, I must be hearing things. He goes to kiss me again Me:"What do you mean he doesn't have to know? What are you saying?" S:"Nothing, I'm sorry I was out of line. I've been a complete ass and I shouldn't expect you to be ok with it. Forgive me?" I was so confused Me:"Yes of course" S:"Tomorrow at Dolce's 11:00?" Me:"Yeah tomorrow" S:"Come on I'll walk you out" we got up and he walked me to my car.

We ran into Nessa on the way out N:"Hey you, leaving me?" Me:"Yeah, thank you for everything Love" N:"You're welcome Hun! Call me?" Me:"Absolutely! You still have the same number" N:"Yeah!....." She looked at Shannon "Wait, you're not....?" S:"No, just walking her out. Nessa I'm sorry about the way I acted earlier. I was a real ass" N:"Yeah you were. What happened?" S:"Long story but I'm ok now" Nessa and I just looked at each other. N:"It's ok, just don't make it a habit, you really freaked me...us out" S:"Sorry about that" Nessa" to me "You ready Love?" Me:"Yeah" to Nessa " take care of you doll" N:"You too sweetie. Say hi to Julie for me." Me:"I will, thanks Hun" one last hug and Shannon and I walked out. S:"I'm sorry about everything, I'll apologize to Jared, I promise" Me"It's ok" S:"Good night Baby Girl, sweet dreams" he kissed me good bye but somehow his kiss felt different like he was saying good bye for good! I'm so sorry Shannon! My heart broke, tears ran down my cheeks and he kissed them away. S:"What's wrong baby" I couldn't say it, all I could manage was "I'm sorry" S:"You have nothing to be sorry about, it's late Love and it's cold" Me:"yeah it is.....Good night Shannon" I kissed his lips one last time S:"Good night baby see you tomorrow" Me:"See you tomorrow" I got in my car and drove home. He knew about Jared and I. I'm not sure how but he knew. I'd have to face him tomorrow and break up with him I just didn't know how. My body still wanted him but my heart and soul wanted Jared, belonged to Jared. God please help!
