The guys were playing six cities in six weeks starting with New York, and Miami, followed by Chicago, Dallas, and ending with Vegas and back home in L.A. In between shows they were doing interviews both radio and TV. Thanks to Marcus and I the boys had gotten a lot of exposure both here and on the road. Thanks to my Job I would be joining them for four of the 6 shows. I was so excited for them and nervous for me. Thanks to my "smart ass" Marcus had me put my money where my mouth is. I was now working right along side him not as his assistant but as his equal, if I didn't know any better I would say we switched roles. The good thing about this promotion is I was in charge of promoting the boys and the band which meant more time on the road with Jared. By the time I was done with them, everyone and their mother would know all about 30 Seconds to Mars.

A week to go before we head to New York and I'm already exhausted. My appetite has decreased and I've been getting lightheaded lately which I attribute to my change in diet. I figure a little more rest and a little more food and I should be feeling better. I'm busy prepping the final press kits for Dallas and Vegas when Marcus walks in M:"So you about ready to hit the road?" Me:"Pretty much, I just need to send these out, the messenger should be here before noon to pick these up." M:"I'm glad you're on this Nina, I probably would've had a coronary trying to figure out where to begin." Me:"Probably??? Uhh definitely! I would've been bringing you you're coffee in the ICU" we both laugh M:"You really should try to rest, you're starting to look a little peaked" Me:"Feeling it too. I'm sure it's nothing" the office phone rings it's Megan, our receptionist Meg:"Hey Nina is Marcus with you?" Me:" yeah he's right here" Meg:"Oh good, can you tell him Charlie wants to see him? Thanks" Me:"Sure Hun no problem" M:"Let me guess the boss man wants me" Me:"Oh yeah he wants you real bad" and I bite my lip. M:"Really Nina???" Me:"I'm sorry I just couldn't resist" He goes off to find Charlie and I go back to work.

My cell goes off it's Julie. Me:"Hey Baby Doll" J:"Hey Love Bug, how's the tour planning coming along?" Me:"Great! I'm busy as hell but loving every second of it." J:"I'm so happy for you Hun! So how are the boys?" Me:"The boys or Shannon???" she giggles J:"You know me to well" Me:"Yes I do! They're so excited they can't wait to go on the road" J:"I bet they are, you're so lucky you get to go on the road with Jared" Me:"Most of it anyway, I have to come home after Miami thanks to Marcus, I swear if his cock wasn't attached to his body he'd loose that too" we laughed at that. J:"You're so bad Nina" Me:" I know, that's why we make an awesome team" J:"Yeah we do Love Bug! So how is Shannon, has he been behaving?" Me:" Him behave??? Surprisingly yes, for now. Don't worry once he sees you he'll forget all about me" I hope "You're still joining us in Vegas?" J:"Wouldn't miss it Hun. Do you really think Shannon will like me?" Me:"of course he will sweetie. Besides since when do you have trouble getting a guy?" J:" I know right? It's just..... Shannon's different! He's not like all the other guys I've ever dated" She was right, I remembered the day I met Shannon and how much I wanted him, to a week later when I met Jared and the complete state of intoxication he had me under, how I loved him from the moment our eyes locked. Me:"Yeah he is, they both are. If anything I'll blind fold him, tie him to the bed and let you take over. By the time you're done with him he won't remember his own name! Oh wait he will since you'll be screaming it out at the top of your lungs" J:"Who are you? Wow this is ........ So not you!" N:"I know right?
