Finally packing for Vegas, 3 more days until I can see my love again, can't wait. My phone goes off it's Julie, Me:"Hey baby doll" J:"Hey love bug, ready for Vegas? Me:Absolutely it can't come soon enough" J:"That bad huh?" Me:"I just miss him so much, you'll see why when you meet him. You're still coming right?" J:"About that, slight change of plans" oh no! Me:"Wait, so you're not coming?" J:"Don't be silly love bug of course I am. I was just thinking you could use some company so why not come down to L.A. and spend a couple of days with you before we head to Vegas, that's of course if it's ok with you?" Me:"Are you kidding me? I'd love that!!! How soon can you get here?" J:"Tomorrow morning to soon?" Me:"Not soon enough. Wait you're not driving down here in that old bucket of yours are you? You'll never make it!!!" J:"Come on sweetie don't be hating on her" Me:"I'm not, I'm just not sure she'll make it all the way down here besides you're meeting Shannon do you really want him to see you driving that tin can" J:"Tin can, really? Me:"Sorry" J:"Besides tin can or no tin can if he's going to love me he's going to love me no matter what" Me:"Oh whatever just get here already and stay safe" J:"I will, see you tomorrow love bug" Me:"See you tomorrow baby doll" this is awesome with Julie here the week will go by faster and I won't miss Jared so much, ugh who am I kidding at least the week will go by faster.

It's Saturday morning and I'm busy preparing the guest room for Julie. I still can't believe I'm going to see her again after all this time. She moved up to Santa Barbara a year and a half ago after a bad break up, She fell hard and fast she found a Tiffany box and thought he was proposing, turns out the son of a bitch was popping the question, but to someone else. He apologized profusely and said he loved her and fed her some bullshit story about a marriage of convenience so the chic could get her INS papers. Yeah right!!!! Turns out the happy bride to be was actually born to a well to do Cuban family in Miami. The break up and the move turned out to be a blessing in disguise she took over a small business her family owned and turned into a cyber cafe, she's doing quite well. It's something like Dolce's only fancier and more high tech.

The gate intercom buzzes, She's here!!!!! Me:"Leto Residence" J:"You're kidding me right? Don't tell me I actually need security clearance to get in this bitch" Me:"Oh God Jewels I swear, come on up" I laughed at that, well at least she hasn't lost her sense of humor. I go drop off the roses, one last look at the guest room and I head back down stairs. I look at my reflection in the foyer. Oh God I look like death warmed up, I touch up my make up and run my fingers through my hair. One last look "Well that's as good as it's gonna get." I look outside and my eyes open wide, for a split second I think I'm hallucinating, that can't be Shannon he's still in Dallas. A brand new black Landrover just pulled in my driveway, I step outside and I gasp with excitement Me:"No freaking way!!!!" She comes around to the back and pops the hatch J:"So how do you like my tin can?" Me:"Oh my God this is awesome you finally got your dream ride" J:"About three months ago" Me:"Why didn't you say anything?" J:"And miss that look on your face, never!!!" God it was good to see her again. We hugged Me:"I can't believe you're finally here, I've missed you Baby Doll" J:"I've missed you too Love Bug" Me:"L.A. hasn't been the same without you" J:"Yeah, I haven't been the same without her either" You've done good though" J:"Yeah I have haven't I? So have you by the looks of this place. Who is this guy anyway, the heir to a Fortune 500 throne ?" I giggled Me:"Nooo! He's just Jared Joseph Leto, the lead singer to 30 Seconds to Mars and the love of my life, come on in let me show you around". I gave her a quick tour of the house and showed her to her room. Me:"So this is your home away from home, Shannon's old room" her eyes opened wide J:"Wait what??? This is Shannon's old room??? He slept on that bed?" I giggled Me:"You're such a fan girl Jewels" she pretends to get teary eyed and fans her face with her hand J:"I think I'm gonna cry" we both laugh. Me:"Go ahead and get settled in, I'll start on lunch" J:"Thanks love bug" Me:"No, thank you" one last hug and I left her alone to unpack.

Julie still couldn't believe she was back in L.A. she missed being home and she missed Nina they're the closest thing either one has to a sister so they are naturally really close to each other. Wow so this is Shannon's old room, this is were he lived and breathed. She looked at the bed and wondered how many women he had ravished there, what it would be like to be lying there in his arms. How could she be falling for him this quickly it was so unlike her. She hadn't even met the man, she's only seen him in a photograph. She gets settled in and goes downstairs for lunch she finds Nina in the kitchen J:"Smells good in here" Me:"Thanks Hun, you hungry?" J:"I'm starved" Me:"Here, help me take this out to the lounge" J:"There's a lounge?" Oh God she cracks me up Me:"Yes we call it that." J:"OMG!!! You have a pool" I laughed at that J:"What? Like you didn't fan girl the first time you saw this place?" Me:"Guilty! Come on let's eat" we caught up during lunch and decided to go to The Gas Lamp later that evening.
