Jared pushes his way in as Nina slumps to the floor Shannon and Jared both yell her name but it's useless she can't respond any more. Jared catches her mid fall "Nina! No! baby please stay with me!" His eyes fill with tears, he looks at Shannon as if to say "help me! Tell me what to do" Shannon strokes her hair and kisses her forehead. He gives Jared his room key S:"Here, take her to my room I'll get rid of Leah" J:Nina, baby please!!!!" S:"JARED!!!! TAKE HER NOW!!!!" his voice makes her flinch but she's still unresponsive. Jared lifts her up and heads to the door. J:"Shannon what are you going to do? S:"Take out the trash!" He gives Jared a look he knows all to well, it's a code they've used since they were kids. Shannon is the oldest so naturally his first instinct is to protect Jared, what ever the cost. Even if it meant fighting his fights or cleaning up his messes and sometimes it wasnt pretty J:"Have you lost your mind?" Shannon looks at Leah then back at Jared S:"Have you?" J:"I haven't touched her! I'd never cheat on Nina, you know that! S:"Do I?" J:"Dammit Shannon really???" S:"Never mind I'll deal with you later" Jared turns to go, he's about step into the hallway when he hears Shannon again "Jared!!! Remember what I said!!" Jared gives Shannon a death look J:"You touch her, you're not my brother anymore!" He steps into the hallway and heads to Shannon's room. She observes them silently, hmm she wasn't counting on the girl being pregnant or them veeing for her attention. But that's of little importance right now, she wants what she wants and she isn't taking no for an answer.

Shannon turns his wrath on Leah "What the hell are you doing here?" She gives him a wicked little smile L:"Come on baby is that any way to greet an old friend?" S:"I'm not your baby!!!" L:"What's the matter lover, am I not appetizing to you any more?" Shannon just looks at her coldly S:"Sorry I've lost my appetite for venomous viper!" She looks at him like a hungry lioness about to pounce on her prey. Outside he's cool and collected but on the inside he's frantic practically grasping at straws, then she speaks. S:"Hmm let me think, you fuck my brother behind my back, I catch you, I take you back, you do it again, now here you are 3 years later wanting to do it all over AGAIN!!!!! What do you think???" L:"Ok granted that does sound bad but don't you remember how much you wanted me, how good it used to feel, how you couldn't get enough?" He has to choose his words carefully he has to sound convincing. S:"Yeah I do, I also remember how much you hurt me, how it cut like a knife when I came home and found you in my brother's bed screaming out his name.!" His voice almost cracks L:"I'm sorry baby, I........" she puts her hands on his arms, he turns his back to her and grins....... it's working S:"Save it! I'ts him you want not me, not that it matters anyway since he's in love with Nina" her blood boils but she wont let it show. Over his shoulder he can see the expression on her face......... jackpot!!!!!! She stays quiet for bit L:"What about you lover?" S:"What about me?" L:"Fine, but don't keep me waiting lover" S:"I won't" he watches her dissapear into the elevator then goes into Jared's bathroom and rinses his mouth out with mouthwash........ fuck!!!!!! Her perfume lingers on his shirt he goes to the dresser and finds one of Jared's shirts and changes into it. Dear Lord please help me, let this work!!!!!!

Julie steps out of the elevator as Jared is reaching her room Julie:'Oh my God, NINA!!!! What happened???" Jared:"Help me please!" She opens the door and Jared lays Nina gently on the bed Julie:"Jared talk to me please, what happened?" Jared:"She thinks I cheated on her. I'd never do that to her Julie, you know that!" His eyes are red and watery, he looks so miserable Julie's heart aches for him, for Nina. Julie:"I know Jared, I can see how much you love her. Why does she think you cheated on her?" Jared thinks to himself, I can't do this I can't tell her about Leah, I need to protect her for Shannon's sake. He decides to stick as close to the truth as possible "We got back early I came upstairs to get my laptop and our door was open when I got there. I guess Nina came up after I did she was pretty out of it when she came in the room Julie I swear I didn't do anything! I love Nina i would never cheat on her, you have to believe me!" He looked so miserable she didn't know why but she believed him Julie:"I do Jared but you're not making any sense" Jared:"I know I'm sorry! I just...." Her blood runs cold and her voice cracks when she speaks again Julie:"What did she see Jared?" Jared:"Julie, please, stay with me, I need you to hear me out ......" Her mind is running a mile a minute. She already knows what he's gonna say and she doesn't want to hear it! Julie:"Where's Shannon? He takes her hands in his, Jared:"Julie, do you love him?" Julie's heart is racing Leah is here Nina was upset because of her and she's alone with Shannon. Julie turns she looks at Nina again then back at Jared, Julie:"if anything happens to her, if she touches Shannon ......." Jared:"I'll snap her neck in two myself!" S:"not if I get to her first" his arms go around her and hold her close "I love you" Julie:"Where is she?" S:"don't worry about it baby she's gone!" She wanted to believe him but she was scared, she was always the one in control the one who took care of Nina. She couldn't help but feel like she failed her. A sob escapes her S:"Baby look at me" she turns to face him and tears leave her eyes Julie:"Did she touch you?" He looks at her quizzically "Baby?" Julie almost grinds the words through her teeth "did she put her filthy hands on you?" S:"I'd want her to touch me about as much as I would like to stare into medusa's eyes! God forbid she turns me into stone just by touch alone" Julie:"That still doesn't answer my question!" he pulls her into his arms S:"No baby, I'm still yours, only yours."

He looks at Jared over Julie's shoulder "how's she doing?" Jared:"She hasn't come to" S:"You want to tell me what I walked in on" J:"I didn't touch the bitch if that's what you're asking" his little brother never looked so miserable S:"Jared I just want to know what happened" J:"Leah came on to me but I pushed her away I'm not sure how much nina heard when I saw her she was holding a vase next thing I know the vase is coming right at us!" S:"Did Nina say anything" he remembers the look of pain on her beautiful face and his eyes fill with tears. "She asked me if.......... She thinks Lea gave me a blow job! Shannon wouldn't kill anyone of course but he wasn't above using less than conventional methods to "take out trash" and Jared knew this. Although he has learned how to trust him blindly he still fears for Shannon, specially where Leah is concerned, she'd stop at nothing to get what she wants. S:"Jay you ok!" Jared:"Just thinking........it's not just us anymore, we have to protect them" Shannon looks at Nina and then over his shoulder at Julie who's making her way to the bed. S:"I know"
