"Don't kill each other" Lecian warned. I narrowed my eyes and the guy clenched his fists. Lecian chuckled as he tossed me a bag made out of leaves woven together. Inside held medicines and supplies. There was a jar of glowing blue liquid. He collected it before it dropped to the trees. Apparently the liquid was special before getting cleansed by the inner bark and the pool in the middle of the strange underground cave.

"If I didn't know your predicament, I would assume you two to be siblings" Lecian added to his previous statement. My grip on the bag tightened. If there was anything I wanted to do, it was to hurt the nameless boy. Lecian tossed the boy a bag and he slung it over his head and shoulder. It made me giggle slightly. I did not expect the big bad boy who could kill ten men with one touch to where a bag like that. My reaction was awarded with a glare so intense that I could've sworn his eyes turned from their dark blue to black.

"Thank you" The boy said to Lecian. "Where do we..." I started and looked around for some sort of exit. "Ah! I forgot, please this way" Lecian said and walked towards a hole in the ground. "Unfortunately, I only have one rope and I can only use it once so I won't be able to lower you both separately. Consider this your jump start at getting to know each other" He said nervously. He so planned this I thought bitterly.

"Alright!" Lecian said throwing an extremely thick rope down the dark hole and motioning for us to stand on the foot long board. That board felt like two inches. It swung back and forth as I clung desperately to the rope. The boy seemed to find his balance and watched me with a bored expression. "Shut up" I mumbled. He ignored me.

"Okay, I'm going to lower you down!" Lecian called. I rolled my eyes and then the ropes jerked. I closed my eyes tightly and when I opened them again I met blue ones. "At least we have a rope. Stop being scared" He scoffed. His voice was low and agitated with every word. "I am not scared" I seethed. The ropes jerked again and I fell back against the jagged wall. I felt the hard rock slam into my back and a groan escaped my lips. I could feel the blood drip down my back.

Somehow, my movements had caused the rope on my side to loosen. I looked up to the boy and gasped. "It's not going to hold us" I whispered. He looked at my feet and the board jerked again. "No no no no" I freaked out. A piece of the board under my feet snapped and fell. I didn't hear it hit the ground.  I bit my lip hard to not freak out even more.

"Stop moving" The guy hissed. I was deathly still as I started hearing small scratching noises. "What was that?" I asked nervously. It got louder and louder. My eyes were adjusting to the darkness more and I saw small pebbles moving. "What the heck?" I whispered looking closer. "They're.... they're eating the rope!" I gasped. The boys eyes grew wide and I tried to hit the small rock creatures away.

They were strange creatures. I classified them as rocks. They held no eyes or arms and legs. I picked one up and a strange moss clung to my arm as it rolled off. "How bizarre" I said. The moss left a minor sting as it rolled across the bare skin of my arm. The only thin on the creatures were strange razor sharp mouths.

The creatures were rolling up the rope and eating it. "No!" I cried trying to hit the monsters away. One bit my finger and I let out a screech. It hurt so badly. "Elliana... I need you to move to this side of the board" The boy said lowly. I gave him an annoyed look and shifted my weight. Suddenly, the rope on my side snapped and the only thing below me was air. I screamed out.

My cry was cut short when the boy reached out and pulled me to him. He had one arm up under my arms and around me while the other was holding onto the rope. I heard him grumble something and the words hit me. "Why did you have to be my Tangible?" Rage filled me. I was not going to let him make me think that I was not good enough. No. "Then drop me" I hissed. It was better than being around his negativity. He shrugged and let go of me. Terror flooded through me and I was about to scream. He only let me drop a few inches before catching me. I was only a few inches above his belly button. "I don't like this position" I grumbled.
