Leneon broke the weak chains and I fell into the blonde boys arms. It had been so long. He didn't recognize me at first and tried to push me away, but when he saw who I was, he hugged me so tightly that I thought I was in the death grip of a serpent. His body was stronger, but his strength at that moment was anything but powerful. He was completely drained.
"Leegan" I breathed into his neck.
"You are in so much trouble my sister. I'm contemplating throwing you into the Deep right now" He was messing with me, but the strain on his voice showed how bad off his emotions were.
"Right after a family reunion?"
"Mom and dad are going crazy. They even sent the big muscles in to help find you" It was then I released my brother from the tight grip and turned to see who the big muscles were. Knowing my father, the person would be terrifying, but in this moment it paled in comparison to what my father could ever impose himself. My gaze trailed up the muscular body and scarred skin.
"Hey kiddo" Edoneon said with his hands on his hips. I was frozen in fear. My father sent another king, his best friend into the Malignant. If I don't die out here, my father will surely kill me. Despite my guilt, I was overwhelmed with the familiar face. I rushed towards Edoneon and threw my arms around his neck. His muscles flexed as he wrapped his arms around me.
"Thank you" I whispered in his ear and he grunted.
"I don't think you will be thanking me when I deliver you to your father and your mother. In all honesty, I thought she was going to charge in here after you" He set me down and a noise caught my attention before I could reply.
I turned to see a furious boy with blue eyes. I rushed to him and wrapped my arms around him. He looked down at me with a clenched jaw and I brushed my hand on his cheek. "The blonde is my brother. The one with wings is my father's friend" I didn't get to say anything else before my brother was running at my Intangible in pure rage.
"No!" I cried and put myself in front of Leegan.
"He stole you from me! He was the one taking you away from me! I almost had you and he ran away! I should kill him!" He said furiously trying to get past me, but I wouldn't budge.
"Lee, this is my Intangible. You cannot kill him because his skin will kill you. Please keep to yourself. We are together now and what happened is no longer one of my problems" I said and Leegan glared at my Intangible but did not pursue his emotions any further.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but we need to move now" Leneon just finished shaking hands with Edoneon. I nodded towards Leneon and motioned for him to lead the way, but when we stepped out of the room, there were guards waiting.
"Well aren't we having a little reunion! What is the connection between this fine group?" He asked us all, but then looked at Leegan. "You my boy are very familiar to me" he thought for a moment but came up with nothing. "It matters not! Bring them to my throne room!" I was shoved down the hall and once again into his throne room. He sat on the soft throne and smiled to us, it was an evil smile full of hatred and disgust.
"What shall I do with you now? You have proven to be untrustworthy, so I could put you to death" He paused for a moment "Or you could tell me who exactly you are" nobody uttered a single word. A servant walked up to the leader and began to whisper something to him.
"Ellie, when I give you the signal, you need to pierce his heart with the trident staff. It will kill him by releasing the Malvant into his body and drawing his blood into the staff. Can you do that?" He asked and I gave him a firm nod. "Good, on my signal" I could feel the staff in my hands shaking with power and anticipation.
