How it started

Back to School

Soffia's Pov

I whine as the sun starts to rise, I've been drawing all night sitting at the window in my room. I wanted some time to myself before starting school again. I'm nervous to go back and annoyed cause it's school but i'm happy to finally be able to get out more. Alice and Jasper went out to hunt before school today, I went last night so i'm left alone to get myself ready.

I decide to quickly take a shower before stepping out and drying myself off, I grab the blow dryer and work on getting my hair dried. I put my hair into two french braids adding a cute little bow to the ends of both. I slip on my long flower skirt with a cropped white sweater and my socks before slipping out of the bathroom.

"Good morning bunny" I hear Rosalie say from the kitchen, I smile and go to sit next to her "morning rosie" I say leaning my head on her shoulder. "you look cute" she said eyeing my outfit "thank you!" I say excitedly. "morning beautiful girl" Alice says coming into the kitchen. "morning Al!" I say before quickly making it into her open arms.

Alice chuckles before wrapping her arms around me, "are you ready to be back?" Emmett says joining us, "yes i'm not ready for the work but ready to be out again" I say with smile still on my face. "why she even coming back already?" Edward says from the side. I feel Alice arms tighten around me "She stronger now and anytime Bella is around she has no intention of doing anything" she says sounding annoyed.

"She doing better than any of us have when we were newborns, Carlisle has said it himself" Rosalie says rolling her eyes at him. "She shouldn't come back yet, she should stay where no one can see her" Edward says before walking away and as he walks away I hear him say something "I'm not a freak Edward" I say tears coming to my eyes.

"what I-I didn't say you were" he stumbles on his words, "you said it as you were walking away I heard it, didn't you Al?" I ask looking at her. "Hunny he didn't say anything" she says rubbing my back to try and soothe me. "He did!" I say my voice loud as a glass slides off the counter and crashes into the wall near Edward.

"Oh my" Alice says quickly wrapping her arms around me, "Sofia you need to calm down please" she says wrapping her arms around me even tighter. "No until
he admits it" I say my eyes shooting daggers at him. "I didn't say you were a freak I thought it but I should've said it" he says annoyed. "I heard your thoughts I heard you say that" I say "I moved the glass somehow also, I can have more ability than one?" I ask mumble to myself shocked as look down at hands.

"Edward don't call her that" Jasper snarls coming into the Kitchen, "Well if she didn't act like an annoying baby I wouldn't" he said crossing his arms. "Shut up Edward" Jasper says again clenching his fist. "Both of you stop" I shout my arms getting out of Alice hold and I move them and watch as everyone gets pushed away from me with the ability I've just learned.

"Shut your mouth Edward you know nothing about anything, you're the freak for being mean and stupid" I say quickly making my way past him hitting his shoulder on my way. I quickly make it out of the room, into Carlisle office as it the closest and shut the door. I can hear everyone out there, Jasper, Alice and Rosalie yelling and I can hear Emmett's thoughts of punching Edward.

I lift my hand up again looking at something on Carlisle desk before using my mind to make it come to me, I smile as it makes it way into my hands. "I'm assuming they are fighting out there because of you?" I hear behind me. I jump not realizing how I missed hearing Carlisle behind me as I have extremely better hearing as a vampire.

"How are you so quiet" I huff out before turning around to him. He chuckles before taking a seat and asking me to join him, I sit down and look at him. "Is it possible to have more than one ability?" I ask, "It's possible, rare but possible" he says looking at me with curiosity.
