How it started

Camping out

Soffia's POV
December 29th, (two days after the last chapter)

Tonight we are staying out camping in the clearing as we wait for the Volturi. They will be here soon, They set up one tent for Renesmee as she's the only one of us that needs sleep. Well I guess the mutts sleep also but who cares and it's only Jacob here. It's gonna be night soon we got here a bit ago.

I've stayed very close to Rosalie these last two days, clinging to her if I slip and hiding behind her when i'm big. She's safe, I've trained my abilities a bit, I know my fire will release when i'm angry but i've gotten to point I can use if I need without anger. The snow is falling and the sun is setting.

"Rosie" I say looking over at her "yes bunny?" She ask running her hand on my shoulder as she looks from her conversation. "Can I go sit with Renesmee for a bit?" I ask, she nods and rubs my arm again before letting me walk over it to Bella and Renesmee. "Hey Sof, how you feeling?" Bella ask as she holds her daughter close.

"I miss them but i'm mad at them also" I admit as I take a seat next to them "that's understandable Sof" she says softly, I nod "so kid, how are you feeling?" I ask Renesmee softly as I push her shoulder. She shrugs "i'm scared, but okay" she says her tiny voice shaking. "hey remember what I said about being scared? it's okay to be we all get scared" I say making her nod.

"It's getting late, I'm gonna bring her to bed" Bella says softly, I nod as I kiss Renesmee's head "goodnight Nes, love you" I say, she smiles and hugs me tightly like i'll disappear which makes my eyebrows furrow "love you auntie fia" she says softly before kissing my cheek and follows her mom to the tent.

I quickly make my way back to Rosalie and Emmett, "Hey shortie" Emmett says making me roll my eyes and push him back as his deep laugh fills the area. "Stealing your wife thank you" I say as I push his hand away and crawl into Rosalie's lap. Rosalie laughs as she wraps her arms around me. "Rude kid" he mutters as he crosses his arms.

I giggle and I lean against Rosalie. Jacob comes up dropping a bunch of wood on the ground making me jump slightly. "Jeez mutt a little warning" I mumble making Rosalie slap my thigh "hey!" I whine, she sends me a look that makes me huff "you don't even like him" I mutter making her roll her eyes "Soffia be polite, I won't tell you again" she says.

I groan and cross my arms "sorry Jacob" I mumble as Rosalie shakes her head "with less attitude Soffia" she says firmly. "Sorry Jacob" I say again making him smirk and nod "no problem" he says as he looks around. "No more with the attitude Soffia, even if you don't like him you will respect him and everyone else understood?" she says sternly.

I bite my lip as I keep my arms crossed "yes Rosie" I say, she smiles and kisses my head "good girl" she says as I sigh and slouch. Garrett suddenly appears across from us as the fire burns brightly. "Name any American battle. I was there" he says as Jacob looks at him "Little Bighorn" Jacob says.

"I came this close to biting Custer. But the Indians got him first" Garrett says. Right after that Kate spins in next to Garrett making me smile and wave as she waves at me "Try Oleg's assault on Constantinople. He didn't win that one on his own" she says. "If you're talking battles, you're talking the eleven years war. No one does rebellion like the irish" Liam says.

His accent makes me smile, "You lost the eleven years war" Garrett says, "Aye, but it was one hell of a rebellion" Liam says. More and more of the vampires come to join us, each telling more and more stories. "So what's your Story Soffia? you never really speak of yourself or speak really" Garrett says making me tense.

"It's okay you don't have to talk if you don't want to bunny" Rosie says softly, "not much of a story for me, i'm boring" I mumble making him smirk "come on you got two mates what's more interesting then that" he says. I huff and cross my arms, "fine fine" he says leaving me alone as they go back to their stories.
