Soffia's POV

A few more days have passed now, I've spent one on one time with both Jasper and Alice and time with both of them as we just reconnected from the time we missed together. I've missed them both dearly and they've shown how much they've missed me. I still spend my afternoons doing puzzles with Rosie, I never wanna give up our puzzle time. She always knows how I like to start the puzzles and we take turns putting some pieces together.

I haven't slipped since i've reconnected with Alice and Jasper yet, but my little side is bubbling to the surface slowly. "Ready for our puzzle bunny? I got us a bigger one today" Rosie says pulling me out of my thoughts, I nod frantically as I stand up following her to the living room. Alice and Jasper are sitting together cuddling as Jasper listens to some music.

Alice is reading when we walk in and her face lights up when she sees me, she smiles but it doesn't reach her eyes when she sees Rosalie right next to me. My eyebrows furrow as she slightly glares at her sister "Hi baby, what are you guys doing?" Al says setting her book down. "Puzzle time!" I say happily sliding down onto my knees as Rosalie clears the table.

"again? you guys just did one yesterday" Alice says softly looking between Rosalie and I, Rosalie tenses as she gently dumps the pieces of the puzzle out, she stays quiet organizing the pieces how I like. "We been doing one everyday in the afternoon for awhile now" I say a smile on my lips as I quickly get to work helping Rosie sort the pieces.

I can hear Esme and Carlisle talking in the kitchen, Bella and Edward are sat on the other side of the room talking as they watch Esme play with Jacob. Everything is peaceful for the moment. I giggle as Rosalie tries to put a piece that doesn't even remotely go where's it's suppose to "what it fits" she says causing me to laugh.

"That's apart of the flowers, it literally has a flower on it and you are trying to fit it with the sky pieces" I say as she huffs "well why make it fit if it doesn't go there" she mutters as we both laugh, that's when my eyes flicker up and Alice is sitting up with her arms folded tight. Her eyes are sharp even though I can tell her face is trying hard to stay calm.

My head floods with a thousand questions, why does she seem so upset. We've had a good few days. "You guys seem to be close, spend a lot of time together doing those puzzles" She says suddenly, her voice light but I can hear the edge underneath it all. That's when it hits me, she's upset, jealous that i'm not with her but with Rosalie.

My head snaps towards Rosalie who has a smirk plastered across her face "You're welcome to join, Alice. But I don't think you've got the patience's for a thousand piece puzzle" she teases, my eyes flicker back towards Alice her mouth tightens making me sit back on my butt. "It's not about the puzzle. It's the fact that everytime I see Soffia she practically glued to your side instead of mine" she says.

There it is, Rosalie's hand twitches which makes me look at her. Her eyes are closed "Careful, Alice" Rosalie says her tone sharp as she opens her eyes to glare at Alice. Alice whips her head towards Rosalie, eyes flashing causing me to whimper softly. "Don't you start Rosalie. She's my mate. MINE. and lately it feels like you're the one she's runs to for everything" she snarls.

I drop the piece I was holding as I bring my hands to my ears but it doesn't help, I can hear everything perfectly. "Stop it..please" I say my voice cracking as tears fill my eyes. I don't want them to fight, Rosalie is off the ground in one swift movement, standing tall and looks very intimidating. Alice rises as well, fist clenching at her sides.

"Funny you say that, considering you left her behind. You don't get to play the jealously card now because I was here and taking care of her" Rosalie snaps. "Don't throw that in my face! we left to protect the family-" Alice says but Rosalie is quick to cut her off. "What about protecting her??" Rosalie snaps again.
