How it started

Christmas without them

Soffia's POV
Christmas day

"Rosie Rosie It's Christmas" I giggle as I push open her and Emmett's bedroom door. "Aahh!" I squeal seeing Emmett above Rosalie, covering my eyes quickly "Jeez Soffia Knock!" Emmett says as I hear shuffling and then someone grab's me "come along darling let's go wait for them downstairs" Esme says.

"I'm blinded, I have been scarred for the rest of my life" I groan rubbing my eyes aggressively. Esme chuckles as she leads me to the living room where the Christmas tree sits. "You are not blind Soffia, and you should've knocked before going in there. I'm sure Alice and Jasper have reminded you of that quite a bit" she says smirking.

I huff and cross my arms "rude I'm just trying to drag them down to open presents" I mutter as they come down the stairs. "Well good morning to you little bunny" Rosalie says looking over at me, I huff and avoid eye contact with her. "oh come on bunny, you can't avoid my eyes forever" she says coming over to me and tickling me.

I squeal as I push her hand away "You and Uncle Emmy have scarred your bunny" I pout looking up at her with my wide eyes my headspace changing quite quickly now that today doesn't feel so stressful. "Oh poor baby, sees something she doesn't want to because she doesn't know how to knock" Auntie Rosie says kissing my head causing me to pout more.

"You're cute bunny, but next time knock on our door okay?" she says firmly making me nod. "Sorry Auntie Rosie" I say, she smiles as me. Her and Uncle Emmy take a seat across from Nana and Papa "Can we open presents now Nana?" I ask excitedly, All the other vampires have given us our space mostly besides Kate, Tanya and Garrett.

"She's adorable, I can't. Come here kid let's make a mess" Kate says grabbing my arm and pulling me to the tree. I giggle and let her set the many presents for me on my lap. "Katie Kat can I open now?" I ask softly she chuckles "go for it Fifi" she says making me giggle and rip open the little presents that are set in front of me.

"Wow, this from you?" I ask her, she smiles and nods "thank you!" I squeal hugging her tight "welcome Fifi" she says making me smile as I open the rest of my Presents. I get paint stuff that's safe for when i'm little  from Nana and Papa and a bunch of toys from Uncle Emmy which makes me giggle. Auntie Rosie knitted me a blanket with my name on it and little bunny's on it.

"Thank you Auntie Rosie!" I squeal holding the blanket close to me as I sit in her lap. "Of course little bunny" she says kissing my temple as everyone opens the gifts they've got and I stay on her lap the rest of the time. "Hey Fifi you have another gift" Kate says handing me a present as I take it and set it on my lap. I'm wrapped up in the blanket Auntie Rosie me.

I remove my hands from the blanket and go to open the gift, I rip the paper off quickly and open the box. It is a beautiful gold bracelet with the initials A and J carved into it. A note sits on the side "we love you" It read making tears fill my eyes and I smile. "Help Auntie" I say holding the bracelet up to her, she chuckles and grab ahold of it and gently clasp it to my wrist.

"Wow all dolled up, looks good shortie" Emmy says making me giggle "thank you" I say leaning back into Rosalie's chest. I sit there staring at my bracelet, hearing the conversation move around me but all I can do is turn my wrist so the gold sparkles under the tree lights. "Do you like it bunny?" Auntie Rosie asks softly brushing her fingers through my hair.

"I love it" I whisper, hugging her arm giggling "it's my favorite gift!" I say, Emmett leans over dramatically putting hand to his heart "Ouch after all the fun toys and games I got you? I guess i'll just go cry in a corner" he says pouting. I giggle and toss one of the many stuffed animals he got me at him "You're so dramatic, Uncle Emmy" I say.

"Your gifts are my third favorite!" I say making him laugh "oh well atleast i'm up there" he says leaning back making me giggle again "what's your second favorite bunny?" Auntie Rosie asks softly "The blanket you made me! it goes with my bunny" I say happily cuddling into her.
