Tony's POV
After everything that happened yesterday, today so far seemed kind of boring. No news on this whole business, and no hits on the signal. Everyone was just talking or training, which was boring. So I went to ask Jarvis about advancements on finding the tesseract. On my way to the lab I noticed Amanda and Cap having a conversation, and they were both smiling brightly. 'What happened there? I swear they're like best friends now.' I ignored them and entered the lab. "Jarvis, any hits on the tesseract?"

"It is the same as it was ten minutes ago when you asked me."

"Are you sassing me Jarvis?"

"Of course not sir."

I heard a familiar voice from behind me. "Still checking up on the tesseract?"

I turn around to face Bruce. "Something like that."

"Yeah well unlike you I actually have something to do." He said as he walked over to the hologram desk and pulled something up.

"What's that?"

"I'm trying to fix the weird signals we've been getting around the Tower."

"And..." I press, having nothing else to do. That's the reason why I even came here, maybe I can have something to do here.

"Well it looks like the disruption is coming from the Tower, there must be something wrong with the receiver." He was focused on the random bars indicating the strength of the receiver.

I looked over his shoulder. "Looks fine to me."

"That's the problem, it's completely fine. I don't know what else could be wrong."

I remembered when Amanda was in the lab yesterday, and how she reacted when we talked about the signal. "So, would you say these problems started... Uh, I don't know... Maybe around the time Amanda got here?"

"Yeah just abo... Wait." He gave me a look. "Tony really? You think she came here and disrupted our signal."

"The problems did start the day she came."

"Yeah but how..." Bruce started.

"I don't know! I just..." I looked at him with sincerity. "Please tell me I'm not the only one that thinks there's something fishy about her."

Bruce looked up from his work. "Just give her a break today, I'll help you look into it more tomorrow." He said reluctantly.

Clint's POV
Natasha and I were at the outside at the training field, we had just got done with hand to hand combat and were just starting target practice. When I picked up my bow I thought of Amanda's armguard, and how it was on the wrong arm. I tried to shake off these thoughts but I couldn't. I was up all night trying to think of a reason why she would have it on the wrong arm. 'It just doesn't make sense! I can't think of a good or bad reason why she would wear it on the wrong arm. It's just stupid.'

"Oh great your thinking." Natasha sighed playfully.

It still amazes me that Nat knows me so well. I'm still trying to decide if I like that. "That a bad thing?"

"Depends on what your thinking about."

I sighed. "It's just so weird that Amanda would wear the armguard on the wrong arm."

She groaned. "That again?"

I raised my bow and took a shot. "It just doesn't make sense. I can't think of an explanation for doing that."

Natasha raised her gun and fired. "Did it occur to you that she might've put it on the wrong arm on accident. Not everyone knows proper archers etiquette or whatever you guys call it."

"I thought of that, but whoever taught her would've corrected that right away. Even if it wasn't corrected she would notice that the string is hitting her bare arm and make the switch. And that still doesn't explain why she is still wearing it."

"Here's a crazy idea, ask her!" Nat exclaimed.

I lowered my bow "Oh yeah that conversation will go well."

"Come on, the worst thing that could happen is she doesn't tell you. What are you freaking out about?"

"How would I even bring it up? Hey you're stupid you put your armguard on the wrong arm."

Nat rolled her eyes. "I don't understand why you just can't ask her."

"Well why don't you ask her if you think it's that easy!" I say getting frustrated.

"Because I don't care. I trust her and that's all that matters to me."

"Fine, you're right, you're right." I mutter. "I'll ask her tomorrow."

"Of course I'm right, it took you this long to figure that out?" Nat said with a smirk. I give her a playful shove and continue with target practice.

Amanda's POV
I was sitting with Thor when he brought up the thing I was hoping to avoid.

"You know you have to tell them." He hinted for the third time today. When I groaned he continued. "You would gain their trust better if you told them, rather than them finding out."

"I know, I know." I admitted, looking down at my right arm. "Honestly, I would have told them by now but the more I know about Tony the more hesitant I become."

"I know just as well as you do how Tony would react to something like this. But let me tell you it would be much worse if he found out himself, he never trusted SHIELD because of secrets, and he will never trust you if he finds you have been keeping one." Thor pointed out. "You can't wait much longer..."

"I know, I just wanted to hold it off a little longer..." Thor gave me a look and I rolled my eyes. "Fine, I'll tell them tomorrow."

Thor seemed satisfied. "Good."

"But just so you know when I get stuck in the lab for the rest of my life it was your fault." I say, as one last desperate attempted to change his mind.

He wasn't about to change his mind. "I'll be sure to visit." He said with a playful smile.

"Oh we'll be talking about you," I remarked with a mischievous smile. "I'll talk about that time when Loki turned into to Sif and you..."

"Don't you dare!" A blush had crept up Thor's face. " I do not like her anymore!"

I ran out of the room with Thor on my tail yelling threats of what he would do if I told anyone. 'Tomorrow's gonna be interesting.'
